Taaa...zgada się wielu z Was lubi podsumowania...Tylko zastanawia mnie jedno. Dlaczego w tych podsumowaniach nie jest uwzględniony zwrot, jaki trzeba dokonać do państwa. Mamy praktycznie deadline i jak sądzę większość z Was rozliczyła się. A jednak jakoś tym się nikt nie "pochwalił".. Może Ty Piotrze mi to wyjaśnisz. Pozdrawiam

I really wanted to like Vinted Pro, and hoped it would be a great addition to my eBay earnings. But everything about it just seems a pain in the ass. Hard to get accounting information, payment schedules, no customer support, very low prices. Probably better to just use it as a sourcing platform for yourself, family or even buying on Vinted and re selling.

I must say, I know I should throw some time into vinted and go pro….but honestly, as a pro seller it’s just not a great platform to run a business on. I have done some testing with boosting specific items as well as spotlighting wardrobe as I was curious, and I like to test all the time. But honestly, both those things were fruitless - it just resulted in a load of likes, but no sales. The spotlight wardrobe thing is particularly annoying. People complain about ebay, but at least you are only charged if it sells. With Vinted you are paying whether you make sales or not. I think you mentioned in a previous video also about price points, and I just find it hard to make money - you are up against private sellers who aren’t trying to pay themselves a wage and so can sell everything for £5.

I must of uploaded my tax papers and my ID 15 or more times until finally it was accepted. As long as nothing is out of date there doesn't seem to be any right or wrong document, just keep throwing it at them!

I think the view counter is not that accurate to be honest. I looked at how many views I'd had on Tuesday morning - it was 0. By 9pm it said I'd had 7 views all day but I'd sold 3 items... my sell through rate was 42%... sometimes it tells me that I've had over 200 views but had no new watchers and no sales... I don't know but it doesn't seem to be telling the truth sometimes 😂

For ages I knew Vinted Pro was coming. Then it got launched, quietly and in a very clumsy way. Like everything new, I sat back and waited and watched….and glad I did as it seemed like an utter *sh*t show’ and so I still sat back and waited. Now I’m seeing pro users being denied their money because vinted has refused their verification for the 7th time, vinted then take down their listing because they are on a white background…and the list goes on of problems. So here I am with 90 items on vinted, not as a pro and barely selling anything (and always de-listing it as the item sold for more on Ebay). There are zero tools on vinted, how can I run my business that way! There might be no direct fees but equally you don’t get anything helpful to run a business. 🤷‍♀️

I did time away once when I went to uk for 3 weeks! I put it back on 2 days before coming home and got too many sales .. I was so tired with ✈️ jet lag but had to ship .. I went on vacation in us and put the store on vacation but buyers could still buy.. only a week .. bad idea as I got angry emails WHERE MY ORDER, it’s as if they didn’t know or see the store was on vacation!

Great video Pete. This was the first year I did not put on time away at Christmas and I was rewarded with good sales on Dec 22-26, but the whole reason I put the store on holiday mode in years past is the problems with the US postal system around the holidays with delayed and lost packages. I had three packages with issues and luckily my buyers paid me on pay pal after I was forced to refund them money when the packages were not received on time. Also leading into Christmas, you run the risk of buyers returning an item just because it did not arrive by Christmas because they expect it to arrive in two days like Amazon. I think there are other sellers in the US that put their stores on vacation at Christmas time because of the postal service issues and not because they want the time off.

I normally don't use time away mode but this year I chose to do it because of being snowed in and not knowing how soon I could get packages to the post office. It was just a few days ago (after the New Year ). Has not affected my sales. I can see how it could be bad right before and during Christmas.

I’m in France and never ever do time away and especially not at Christmas but then eBay in France is tiny compared to the uK

The problem with buying in bulk is that some items you wouldn’t buy them if you see them in a shop etc.

I know that Cancer Research UK has a “rag man” who comes and picks up discarded clothes and pays them a small amount per kilo so it’s worth bagging these items up with a clear label to say “Rag” 🙂

You are totally wrong pete. You are being too hopeful. Private sellers like myself will leave. I am planning now. You hope private sellers will stay and buy. They will not.They will leave and leave with their money. People below me have made 2 good points. One is they will start on the business sellers next and the other is what if Ebay go bust, they have sellers money. Too risky. This is the beginning of the end for Ebay. Unfortunately Ebid have not yet got fully established.
