This board is really cool. It would be even better if it had a handle on the nose. In early spring or autumn, you really don't want to wet your feet to pull the sup ashore. You also need a ring from the bottom of the nose. So that you can tow the board.
I think so too. When I don't want to get my feet wet in the cold months, I just grab it with 2 hands and drag it on shore. It's really light. I'm personally glad there's no front handle, that would get in the way of my action camera. ha I know not everyone cares about the cam though.

What an incredible bucket list paddling experience. I have also considered paddling this area as well and I have family in Iceland that I can stay with although I have never been there myself. What month did you go? I would definitely bring my wetsuits though. Also, is there a reason for not using an electric pump for your board? I’m pretty spoiled with my epump…lol
Hey Tracie! This was late March. A wetsuit is a smart move. In the thick of winter, say December/ January, it’s super frozen so not a good time. Also the icebergs were breaking every so often and sounded like dynamite. It’s pretty dangerous, so just be aware.
@@DuncanHustle thanks for the update. I was hoping you would say March. I work with an MLB team and can’t take my long vacations until after baseball season is over. I don’t want to even attempt during the winter and the latest I can go is March before season opener. I live in the PNW and paddle all weather types throughout the year so I can handle the cold with a wetsuit but the extreme wind is more concerning for me.
I just got an 11 foot Atoll. Clean and Simple design! The deck is not covered with docks for Cameras and 900 other BS attachments. KISS . The Construction is totally there. Customer Service is Fanfunkingtastic, they make one small error in my shipping, when I notified them they make it MORE Than Right in One Day. This is a Company that Knows How to Look after it's Costumers and has a Great Product.

You didn't really mention performance too much. Can it get any speed compared to the all around board shapes? Is it considered a touring board? I am trying to learn the terminology but I find a lot of it is interchangeable. Wicked shots of the splashy water.
Hey Polite Q! Thanks! It's touring board, but also a great all around board. Speed depends a ton of factors: inflation, weight being carried, effort, calm/choppy water, wind, etc. Say all of the factors are ideal, this isn't going to beat a racing board, but it will be extremely fast for an inflatable board. Consistently 26-34 depending on the part of the island. Glacier lagoon was 28.

Wow amazing footage bro! The whole trip to Iceland was an unforgettable adventure! In case other people are wondering, It was alot colder than you think in that video. It was probably in the upper 20's plus colder cause of the windchill. Also had a blast filming with you and climbing tall ass mountains! lol
