nah dw you're not being rude, and nope they dont know him on a personal level, it'll just be interesting for characters form different worlds to react to another one! for exemple, the guy sensei in the video, well known author in his world, or zhenya (i'm not sure if he is from the mafia or something else) or murder basketball (one is a killer and the other has a split peronsality, and is also from the mafia) i just think it'll be interesting for people who have something in common with dazai to react to him!!

Dunno if you'll count a more apocalyptic "Humanity is on it's last days and people are killed the second they are deemed infected" as something worth reading in a BL but as someone who's read 90% of the novel and all of the manhua, it is extremely good and hey! It does have a happy ending (It's called Little Mushroom in case you're interested, though it is slow burn)
