I would suggest that holding off for a bit. Once human written highway driving is replaced with NN like city driving, then let it have a couple of updates and it will be just fine. The problems with that approach include; there will be fewer cars on the road testing that version and there is risk that the current prices might increase dramatically. I'm still pleased that I bought FSD while it was dirt cheap and not nearly as valuable as dirt, but with an almost unlimited potential.

You can stay in the lane of your choosing by enabling minimal lane changes. Push the right scroll wheel to the right to bring up the option.

Never got an invite to try FSD for my 2021 MY. As FSD approaches L4 folks assume it will cost more as Elon has suggested but the price is more market driven. If people don't want to budget an extra $100 or more then they will just drive like they always have. My guess is that the price will need to be much lower and FSD will need to be much better mass adoption. I think it will be like solar, if FSD can save money on car insurance then it will be worth using (cost offset).

honestly, been playing with FSD for a few weeks, mine ends next week, I wont purchase it at this point. MAYBE in the future ill pay for a month to test it out again. Hopefully the data and feedback i provided tesla will help them modify and improve it.

Have you seen your navigation choose a terrible route or seen it choose to go down a 1 way street the wrong way? I think that's gonna be some of the biggest issues of FSD.

It definitely drives too close to curbs with 12. I liked how it centered lanes in the previous version but at least it doesn't fly into turn lanes when you're supposed to go straight anymore.

Sound like you are new to FSD. If you were I love how you were 100% attentive and saved the day for the 0.1% of driving that FSD is leaving us humans for to control. I paid 12K CAN$ for 3 years ago and have been watching it improve / stall / get a bit better / worse / better....but finally I got 12.3.3...I too can see the light at the end of the tunnel. the very boring tunnel ;-)
