Thanks for posting me and my buddy guys! Pretty awesome first time surf casting and landed a keeper. I knew mine was too big to keep and wanted to get it back in the water asap so I didn’t get a measure on it. Just happy to get a pic together with two fish landed at the same time.

Chunks of bunker hold the hook better if you hook under the spine. The spine holds better then the guts i think
