Finding Kyrdemkhla was not easy | Our journey to Kyrdemkhla & Lyngksiar Falls | Meghalaya Diaries
Dear Readers, our second day in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya, started off on a fantastic note as we woke up in our cozy homestay, surrounded by the lush green hills and the sound of birds chirping. The atmosphere was so refreshing that it felt like the perfect escape from our daily hustle. After a leisurely breakfast, we took our time getting ready, chatting and laughing as we soaked in the beauty around us. Once we were all set, we hit the road to find Kyrdemkhla Waterfall, a spot we’d been looking forward to.
I can assure you that it was not a simple effort! It proved to be quite the adventure getting to the waterfall. We discovered that Google Maps had utterly misled us after following its instructions. It honestly made it more enjoyable when we found ourselves lost on tiny roads and requesting assistance from people! Ultimately, after what seemed like a short journey, we came upon the magnificent Kyrdemkhla Waterfall. The scene of water cascading down the rocks was truly breathtaking, and we paused to absorb the natural beauty. We laughed at our past mishaps, took a tonne of pictures, and generally relished the tranquil atmosphere of the location.
Once we soaked in the serenity of Kyrdemkhla, we made our way to the next stop, Lyngksiar Fall. The way the sunlight danced on the water made it look like something straight out of a postcard. We spent some time there too, just soaking it all in, talking about everything under the sun, and sharing stories that made us laugh until our sides hurt.
After all of our sightseeing and nature immersion, it was time to return to Guwahati. As we drove away, I couldn't help but think about how incredible these moments were. It dawned on me that life is fleeting and that we frequently become mired in our daily lives, neglecting to treasure the time we spend with our loved ones. These trips are what truly matter, the smiles, the epiphanies, and the relationships we forge along the road. So let's make a commitment to continue planning and going on adventures whenever we can since these kinds of experiences are what make life worthwhile!

Dear Bulls Trek, your lush greenery truly captivated me. Life is not always an adventure. During our low moments, no amount of money, fancy dinners, or material possessions can bring solace. As humans, we often find that nothing external is enough to help us, we must find strength within ourselves. My trip to Bulls Trek, Meghalaya, made me realize that inner peace doesn't come from traveling or...
