Ohh its just my opinion really mate, no bubbles were harmed 🤣 I do disagree tho. Pyno beats Dasp without to much trouble and bro, Pycno runs Hatz over in 20 seconds. With charge and head slam it's like 2 more bites and they drop. They can only fly over you and try to get free hits. Or that's my experience thus far. God dayum iv turned into a Pyc fan boy fml

It depends, flail does more damage and you can use it whilst hovering, barrel roll does a bit less and harder to hit with, but it also has a hidden use. If you ever struggle with being in slow flight or fast flight (walking and running speed but in the air), sometimes its hard to tell. You can only barrel roll in fast flight. It will only light up to be available to use in fast flight. Iv moved over to flail recently but I miss the indicator from barrel roll.

@@Toast_hubI think it’s pretty balanced. You have to charge into things to get damage and u end up taking damage most of the time. Once the reflective damage is gone a pycno can be picked apart.

That charge tail tho, you can drive by and whack em with your tail and its hard to dodge, whether you're being chased or someone is camping or defending somewhere, the tail is op. Plus it has 2 second cd, that combined with its speed, stamina and raw damage is too strong imo.

That's a solid set, I'd swap Spino for Meg and Allo for Hatz, but otherwise mine is the same 👌

I think it needs a slight nerf tbh, bring the stam drain back for the tail or increase the cooldown. Now, nearly everything else does minimum tail damage but Pycnos is op. That with its speed and short cooldowns makes it alot more than valid imo

Haha same here. Sometimes it has the best fights there but other times it's a quick ticket back to the coast 🤣 Bottom right at Green Valley is a nice place with medium activity normally.

That's a tough 1 for me because I mainly play Officials and haven't had much experience against Utahraptors. I'd imagine anything would struggle against them especially solo. You have to use something with a safety blanket or escape mechanism. Megalania and use the water. Achillo and use the ripping kick to get away. Probably Pycno would be a good choice now that you can use charge and charged tail together. Sorry I can't be more help and good luck

Funny thing is, he was fuming that I killed him even tho his friends spoilt it for him. He was going mad saying pachy vs meg is not a fair fight and that he wants to go again but on his sucho. I left him the lattens trophy on the body and he still ranted more about killing the latten aswl even tho it attacked me. Like what do these people expect.

The turn isn’t as good as it was, but I’d utilise tail attack more now as it still does 30 damage than armour tail that doesn’t improve your overall turning.

Make sure you're swapping between run and walk when in tight turning fights. Walking will tighten your circle. Break check them if they tail ride you. Stop and swing 1 way and use claw at the same time. They can't face tank you, so if you're aggressive with them (claw, bite bite claw) and show confidence, they will usually run away. Also, ripping kick and jump straight after to boost a little more but use more stamina. Remember, they can't jump to good, so use the terrain to escape if needed. 1 more thing, make sure you use the hide which gives you Speen when bleeding, that will help get you away or chase them down, etc. Good luck, and I hope this helps.

I havnt used that for ages since the nerfed it. It's cooldown is to long and regular claw is soo good against everything else. I'd rather be equipped to fight everything first and take longer to kill apexs imo.

Yeah and knowing he can't run charge aswel as tail is good to know. Normally have to wait to dodge the charge. He lost his ability to be aggresive and now super defensive. I must admit tho it definitely increase his survivability because it takes so much longer to put damage on him because there's only a few seconds in-between tail charges.

Yeah, pycno feels like it's in a weird place now. Charge doesn't seem to hit small/short dinos, and the charged tail attack is useless. Juke is pretty good tho, and it's basically your only recourse when you're getting bullied by small stuff (which you absolutely will)

I was fighting a pycno with the steg and it only used charge tail. It fckd me up, I only won because he got trapped and I was able to block it in and tail it to smithers

That's not a bad shout tbh, stop people jumping In and out of groups and force more realistic encounters. That could stop the 'you keep em busy whilst I go heal' strat, and vice versa.

Yep, this was from a few days ago. They've reduced regular bite damage and buffed ripping kick

Thanks! The claws I felt a little off, tbh I'm not sure, but I couldn't find the rythem like on a Achillo for example with its claw/bite rinse repeat. Probably because I'm not used to it, Il take that on board when I use it again tho, thanks again 👍
