Thank you! You need a very good zoom at least 400mm. It’s far away from the runway…
But there is an oficial spotter place Just aside the taiways, in front of the 14R waiting point. There you only need a 100mm, may be less for the heavies
I mean 400mm from the second location . First location is much closer!

I live in a place where planes that are landing at Barajas are less than 3000ft altitude, and I'm right next to the approach path, so I get to spot from my garden.
