For me, he is one of the best male solo artists to come out of the UK. l interviewed Maxi Priest back in 1998 on a pirate station called Sting FM in Manchester. It was the best most relaxing interview I have ever had. Down to earth, humble and we spoke for 2 hours live on air. Big up Saxon Studio where I first heard Maxi on tape and said to my friend, "Who is that singing on Saxon Sound because if Tippa can break the mould so could he",. I followed him from then and he has only got better like a fine wine. Every "Springtime" you are remembered for the "Perfect Love" your voice delivers. MAXI PRIEST, TO ME, AND I AM SURE MANY OTHERS YOU ARE "A LIVING LEGEND". Nuff Love from Jr Legend and the Profile Massive in Manchester.

I have ALWAYS said and will continue to say that the only man that could take me is this gorgeous man! My husband knows how much I love him and so do my kids lol. Maxi, in my younger years caused me to get into trouble with ex's because they knew they couldn't live up to him. He's just......yummy! Love him and will continue to. My son's play his music all the time too because they've literally grown up listening to him. Thank God I have a understanding husband 😂. My father came to the UK in the 50s, met my mother and had 6 children. If it wasn't for the struggles they went through and the hardships they encountered on the way, I don't think I'd be the woman I am today. They make me appreciate everything I've had growing up everything I have today. My mother is white, French, father African and I am so proud of them both. My father has passed away now but he still plays a big part in my life. Thanks for sharing this. Anything to do with Maxi Priest, I'm there lol. ❤
