I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this, so I’ll bring up some things that I saw in this: Scrat finally runs into the acorn again, after ages of chasing it across space. He does his usual grabbing it and hugging it, then he lifts it above his head to bury it. Then he stops. He realises that he has been here many a time, and something has always interrupted him. He looks left and right, looking for anything that might stop him this time. There’s nothing around. Then Scrat realises, he’s always been needing to bury the acorn for later, but it’s been ‘later’ and he’s quite hungry. So he chomps down on it and finally eats thing that started all of this. When he’s done, he sets the remains down and stares at it for a moment, remembering all the adventures he had with it. Does he do his iconic scream as he realises the amount of time he wasted chasing the acorn? Does he cry at the thought of losing something that’s become so much a part of himself? No. Scrat thinks nothing of it, just another step in his life. With that, Scrat looks to the future with a smile and hops off to his next adventure.

Whelp, there goes my childhood....

It's really heartbreaking to know that the studio closed 3 years ago and I know it after 15 years since I watched Rio.. Nobody refers Bluesky in Korea but I believe that their films are in our heart I really hope Bluesky to come back soon. Brings back old memories in my childhood..😢

I Think We Can All Agree, Disney Is Responsible For This

Once upon a time, Disney would actually sell off subsidiaries rather than say “If I can’t have it, nobody can!” and shut them down, before squeezing some last dying gurgles out of their IP and then sweeping it under their ever-fuller rug. Unbelievable, but DiC was a thing Disney sold off, as were parts of Saban and DePatie-Freling, so I don’t see why Disney didn’t just sell off Blue Sky rather than close them.

Ha! Take that Disney! You may have single handedly shut down Blue Sky Studios, but at least they didn't lose so much money that they couldn't give Scrat a happy ending!

Disney bought Fox with Blue Sky animation in tow...then dismantles the studio, putting its artists and writers out of work.....Scrat does the farewell by eating the object of his pursuit.
