    Sir for the discontinuous edge detailing shouldn’t the 0.1ly or 0.1lx start from the face of the support , in your drawing it’s drawn from the centre of the support?

      Check carefully the distances are taken from the support, not from the center, for the top reinforcements.

      In that case you need to provide minimum reinforcement. If the minimum reinforcement also violates the maximum spacing criteria of main parallel reinforcement of slab, then you need to provide the reinforcements as per maximum spacing criteria of main reinforcement of slabs (As per IS456:2000).

      Yes, you can reverse the complete sign convention, but you have to mention that you have considered that sign convention and drawn the diagram accordingly for analysis purposes.
