Letter To Women from Pope St John Paul II
Endow was founded in part out of the desire for all women to encounter Pope St. John Paul II's beautiful Letter to Women. This letter, written on the occasion of the United Nations' 4th World Conference on Women in Beijing in 1995 is Endow's touchstone and the anchor for our entire portfolio of studies. If you let the inspirational words of JPII into your heart, you cannot help but be transformed by them.

George sadly you did so much wrong, you went after a good man, Donald Trump who is God's good ,and faithful servant whose only intent was to save America...I am sad to say this but I cannot stomach these two, Miss BROWN NOSE, and pompous George!!I could care less about your degrees, and I don't think God is impressed ,thats just my opinion. How is it that you would tell fellow Catholics not to vote for him, but to vote for a man who pushes every unGodly issue.I believe it is becauee you are not even in touch with holy spirit, and that is why you could not figure it out! Also your too impressed with yourself, now if you will excuse me , I have to go to confession.

What a delightfull intelligent and beautiful host engaged with the great Msgr Pope. I wish I had seen this at the time. I was outraged by Cardinal Gregory’s harsh comments at the time. They were way too political and biased in a way we have never seen against a President coming to visit a Catholic shrine or church. The Bride of Christ after all is not a subset of one political party . It struck me that it was orchestrated and no accident . I couldn’t help adjusting my contributions for the bishop’s appeal accordingly ever since. Frankly, Cardinal Gregory should still resign for his rancid political activism in that faithful year of 2020.

This is so beautiful. Father Luke seems such a passionate and wise advocator of Agape, the unconditional love that God had for us. Sister Carolyn reminds him that he is a child of God, and the host Simone tries so hard to get the point through that we are ALL Children of God,and indeed if you're a parent you give birth nurture care and raise children which is very very love demanding!!!!! Parenthood, including spiritual parenthood, IS LOVE!! It is not ordinary. it is difficult, painful, scary, (labour) anxiety inducing, a massive responsibility, a very very brave vocation to follow. And children, are beautiful little bodies of Christ, ready for formation, ready to be raised, nurtured and given the chance to grow in Christ. So let's not forget families, and generations when we think of Love. Agape can be called upon as well as filial and loyalty and eros. And Spiritual parenthood, which I believe Father Luke and Sister Carolyn are called to, is a wonderous, beautiful opportunity for agape.

Your video was recommended to me by a friend as I have fallen away from the Catholic Church and come to believe that it became by about the 2nd or 3rd C an 'institution' by men for men . Despite the importance of women in the earliest days of Christianity, I see a long history of misogyny, patriarchy, hierarchy and corruption. My alienation from the Church, is due this awareness of the misogyny that pervades the church and the clergy. St Paul, for all his amazing eloquence and his women helpers, put women subordinate to men - 'wives who uncover their heads dishonour their husbands' (1 Cor. 11:4-5a). Yet, it was only the women and John who were brave enough to be at the Crucifixion and and only the women who cared enough and were brave enough to go to the tomb - Jesus’ grave. They were the first apostles. I think that as the early faith became organised into a church women were sidelined, hierarchy and patriarchy took over and became entrenched. Yes, there were some amazing women in Catholic history but always under the authority of men. There have been many bad popes - the Borgias - and many, many bad priests - safe in their power because of the churches devotion to hierarchy. Ireland still reels from the many priests who ruled the people with such petty tyranny and ‘authority’ - priest-ridden is how it was often described and how it probably, mostly was. The abuse of children, women and men by priests and nuns under the supervision of priests, was forgiven or ignored. Magdalene laundries? Baby graveyards - for those that failed to thrive. Babies sold to good Catholic families which also happened in Spain as well as Ireland. The priest sex and pedophile scandals of recent times reach way back. Those scandals deeply scandalised me. Jean Vanier, founder of L'Arche, another male Catholic who I thought was near a saint turns out to have been an abuser of women and power. JRR Tolkien was a Catholic and I was proud of that until I learned about his priest son who was a cruel, abusive priest who got moved around instead of punished as so many bad priests were. It goes on an on. There are, of course, good priests and popes as there are good men, but I think the hierarchy of the institutional church has corrupted many. There are at this moment any number of scandals involving priests and nuns - Rupnik, and an Ohio priest trafficking young addicts, etc. Some will say but you can't throw the baby out with the bathwater but it seems to me that the baby was lost a long time ago.

There is a beautiful book with regards to which St. Therese has said, reading this book was one of the greatest graces of my life. The Book that she was referring to is, 'The end of the present world and the mysteries of the future life' by Fr. Charles Arminjon. Just a snippet. I also like St. Thérèse's 'Little way' - although I don't practice it because it's not in my mind I'm sure if it was in my mind I would practice it - henceforth I want to make it a point to think more about it.

I only just discovered Teresa Kenny and the Hormone Genius Podcast because of an episode she recently did with Every Knee Shall Bow. I’m a mom of a middle school girl, and I thank you so much for asking that question 15:54. I know a lot of this topic revolves around the prescription of the pill, and I’m already gearing up to be very vigilant about that because it was prescribed to me for “irregular periods” at age 19, and I don’t want that for my daughter. But I’m wondering if there’s been any discussion around the HPV vaccine? I’ve already researched that the USCCB and the Vatican do not have a formal statement about the use of the vaccine. Do NaPro technology practitioners have a stance on it?

So excited about this study. Waiting to receive my study book. Growing up, my family belonged to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Our church and school was run by the Carmelite priest and there was this one priest in particular who was in love with Saint Therese. My mother too was in love with this Saint. Because of this priest, I remember going most Thursday evenings to church for prayer to Saint Therese. She was so important in our parish, a statue of her, and the Blessed Mother, flanked the walls up front one on each side of the main altar. When her relics toured the USA, we were on of the parishes that she visited. It was a most incredible blessing to our parish. People came from all over Houston and from the country of Mexico, to visit her relics at our parish church. I confess, as I child, and even as young adult, I did not understand her importance and message .I thought the things I'm hearing about this girl sound crazy. Her book , the Story of a Soul, was always in our house. It wasn't until I picked up this book and read it, that I feel in love with this Saint.
