Awesome did you reuse the rod and main bolts and if you did what did was the torque spec on them ?

Hey! Girlfriends car is having the same exact issue as everyone else but I check for suction on the EVAP piece and there’s none. Would it than potentially be the thermostat?

My engine at 253k miles you suggest I do this or just swap the engine

*@BustedtoBuilt I had the almost no start cranks like three times after fueling. I had to turn it off and turn it back on, it whines than turned on. The part is only $50, if "EVERYONE" is scared to spend money on the fix you will be driving in Limp Mode "FOREVER".*

I though this part broke on my 2011 Cruze, I've changed them on other GM cars before, Well mine broke the door itself, so to fix it, I shoved a coat hanger down the vent to force the door open for the defrost, Im not taking that dash out if a simple coat hanger works lol

Dude I have almost the exact same problem on a 2019 super duty 6.7 it will start and automatically shuts off throwing all kinds of codes where are you out of

one thing i noticed about all the timing chain videos for this engine type. None of them show you the after completion video. they just show the 'process' of doing it and then none show it in the car, starting up to see if it was done correctly and the codes were gone. I've yet to find a single one in the dozen or two that i've seen.

Thanks for informative diagnosis and repair. Some time ago I checked my wiring harness in same location, even fixed a couple of exposed wires, but am getting same P0192, so I will expose that harness section again to see if I missed another wire or two... thanks for making the video with excellent explanations and video edits!

Did this cause battery drainages issues, as well as any issues with alarm system? Just trying to diagnose possible issue on mine. I’m having the same issue with tpms, key fob, and abs lights. But I have a battery issue on top of that.

Help, we've had issue with truck doing this . 2004 GMC yukon denali. We thought it was just the ignition switch. When I put a new ignition. Switch in it fires up ....

I don't know how long it took you to find and repair the issue, but it's a shame the Dealer had it for 2 months and their techs gave up. They definitely need to better train them.
