These pop singers need to go into Rock and rejuvenate the genre. They may even do better in Rock too then have a bunch of pop singers that seem the same.
I'm 45 and this reminds me of the upbeat rock I grew up with. I genuinely love this.

When the Russians first started coming to Brighton Beach I was living there with my mother. I moved away when I got married and raised a family. All these years later. I got divorced, my mother passed away and I moved into her house back in Brighton Beach. 100% Russian now and me.

i feel like most of kesha's songs were supposed to be rock songs but she changed them to edm last-minute
Apparently Kesha wanted to make rock music but her producer didn't allow it bc it wouldn't get popular enough or some crap :/
It wasn't her choice to make them electronic, I think seeing as Kesha is a big rock and metal fan, she wanted Warrior to be a rock album. I think one of the most eclectic albums she has put out was Rainbow, there's soul and gospel inspired songs like Praying, there's country and bluegrass flavoured songs, there's a couple of songs that she's done with Eagles of Death Metal too.

This sounds like a remix of "Boston - More than a feeling" with "Taio Cruz - Dynamite"
I think this needed more of a Neil Geraldi style guitar part in addition to the fuzz guitar. A little bit Pat Benetar, a bit of Dio/Ratt, track it at Sound City, and I think the vocal needed to be a bit more raw and dry and you would have had an early 80s AOR smash.

I just learned that my paternal grandmothers side of the family used to own Coney Island but something happened and they were swindled out of it. Not sure how true the second part was but they most definitely did own it at one point.
They owned Coney Island? I think you should do some research on that. You may be a little disappointed on what you find.

Apologies…I meant that they had owned land on Coney Island. Not the whole island itself. I had just reread my initial post after seeing comments. Sorry They did own land there along with other families of course but from what I was told they along with others we’re basically swindled out/pushed out of their land and homes.
My great grandfather owned Staten Island.
