KASHENYI ARCHDEACONRY REWARDS VEN. JAMES BUSIGYE WITH A NEW CAR AS HE RETIRES FROM ACTIVE SERVICE .
RUKUNGIRI : Ven. James Busingye, the outgoing Archdeacon of Kashenyi Archdeaconry in Ruhinda sub county Rukungiri district has bid farewell to Christians in a colorful ceremony where he was rewarded with a brand new car Toyota fielder UBS 680 A as a sign of appreciation.
Busingye has been serving as the Archdeacon of Kashenyi for a period of six years up to when he clocked the mandatory retirement age of 65 years as per the constitution of the church of Uganda.
Canon Ben Turamye the chief executive officer at the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority PPDA who also serves as the Development Officer of Kashenyi Archdeaconry, who was the day’s guest of Honor commended the good work and Development done by their retiring Archdeacon Busingye in the 6 years he had served in their church.
Turamye hailed Christians of Kashenyi Archdeaconry Kampala chapter and all Christians under Kashenyi Archdeaconry for uniting and raising over Ugx 36 million to purchase a vehicle to bid farewell to their Archdeacon.
