Acoustic Guitar Shred by Stephen Ross
มุมมอง 1.2K13 ปีที่แล้ว
This song shows a different side of Stephen Ross. The song was featured on the "Alchemist" CD on Liquid Note Records. This is a great record and a most to have in your collection. Guthrie Govan and many other great players contributed songs on it as well.

Scott Mishoe has amazing technique and demonstrates his guitar prowess in this video.
Jason Becker Tribute - Perpetual Burn (Warmth in the Wilderness Vol II)
มุมมอง 1.9K13 ปีที่แล้ว
Stephen Ross, Tony Senatore and Joe Nevolo doing a fantastic job on Perpetual Burn. Stephen Ross is one of those guitar virtuosos who never quite got the recognition he deserves. Joe Nevolo and Tony Sentore are also both masters on their instruments. Joe and Tony also played on Stephen Ross's debut Shrapnel CD, "Midnight Drive" which was released in the early nineties.

This was recorded before Richie and Steve landed their Shrapnel Recording contracts. Some really cool shredding by both players.

A great and innovative player. Released his first CD on the Shrapnel label entitled "Adventures of Bumblefoot". He is now one of the guitarists in Guns and Roses.

Greatest Heavy Rock Progressive Band of all Times.
Ridiculously Insane guitar solo with wild arpeggios
มุมมอง 2.2K13 ปีที่แล้ว
Ridiculous insane Intense guitar shredding by Stephen Ross who in my opinion is one of the most under rated guitarists on the planet. His use of arpeggios was so cutting edge at the time of his debut Shrapnel Release "Midnight Drive". Nobody, except a few players were combining legato techniques with sweeps the way Ross was doing. Richie Kotzen got credit for it, but Ross was doing it first.

Stephen Ross, made a Shrapnel CD back in the nineties doing some innovative shredding. Not sure if it is true or not, but I heard he taught Richie Kotzen back in the day.

Tosin wasn't the first to utilize the thumb pickin, it's this guy

What is this video tape called
La reincarnazione di Niccoló Paganini 😂😅😊
1988? LOL!!
Are these segments from any particular piece(s) or is he just improvising here?
God level !!!
Ron va oltre la possibilità dello strumento, è un genio.
Genio 🖤
Dammmmnnn that's amazing
Proof you don't need big hands and long fingers to play the guitar.
This gives me hope! Seeing people like Paul Gilbert, Buckethead, Steve Vai, and Allan Holdsworth with their giant alien hands was making me wanna quit
It’s crazy how fucking clean this guy is
Simply AMAZING!!!! Certainly one of the most underrated guitar players around....
Some of the most effortless guitar playing I've ever seen.
JS Bach reincarnation propably... :)
Legendary plus mythic
🤯
Thank you Guthrie. Never heard of this genius before. 😯😮
Ok I am done. Finished! Bloody hell!
Damn, the memories! In 1995, I was 15 years old and taking lessons from Scott at Boogie Music. Most of the lessons were just watching him play, and I had him transcribe his solos. I wish I had paid more attention and practiced harder, but I didn't really know what I was doing at the time. x_x
The sheer amount of visible evidence that this video was not made in 1988 is astonishing.
Hi are you active??
Forget him who was the brunette
What sorcery is this
The best thumper I've ever heard on the electric guitar and he did this back in 95!
Hey Stephen!! You are a Amazing player too!! Love Midnight Drive!!
1988? Suhr guitars did not exist in 1988 lol.
Lmao, great call. I was about to say, no way is he 17 here
That's also why I knew it wasn'y 1988, lol. Also the small fact that Guthrie is a full grown man but of course we notice the guitar!
Daaaaaamn!!!! How have I not seen this?!?
Freaking amazing
Covers the neck incredibly easily for someone who doesn't have Gilbertian size hands, great technique!
He is like the chopin of guitar they both are tiny and have small hands but create stuff that most people with big hands cant even play
Seriously one of the most hidden gem crazy ass guitar players ever that thimble trick is genius
I think this guy has been Buckethead

It's no secret who Buckethead is anymore there's a video on TH-cam that Explains It All
