Here are some revelations since this video was shot. Ward was always ahead of the curve in rc flying. The supertiger 2000, 2500, etc turned out to be boat anchors. It was better to bolt on a can of beef soup to the firewall than one of those engines RC helis with mechanical gyros were forging real pilots, not like today where its all done for you and all you need to do is learn tricks while computers and gyros make you look good. Randy Travis was and still is a talented artist Justin Trudea and Marc Garneau are no where near this place to ruin the fun and murder the hobby The farmer tall hat and matching colour coded jackets is the uniform of the rc superhero Rejecting a takeoff roll because the engine is not set right or there isnt enough runway available is for cowards an no one aint got no time for that. There was pride and excitement and building and oldschool guys that knew things about building. Amazing changes and improvements began about that time and RC flying was incredible.
