Take a bunch of the ends and place them in a ball jar. They are actually beautiful and would very colorful on a book shelf.
That’s a great idea, thank you!
You have some lovely yarns and plans. In particular, I can't wait to see how your Salty Days Sweater will look with that fabulous yarns and colour combination you have chosen
Thank you! I just need to get round to knitting all these lovely pieces now <3
Nice to see you again. Asa fellow 🇨🇦 knitter I sympathize with the cost of this hobby. Re: alpine bloom: the colourwork looks great. Before frogging I would try to pick up stitches around the collar, if this works , then cut the yarn and frog old collar. Re knit collar the way you want. If all goes well then focus on sleeve, frog ribbing and lengthen. If collar does not work for you there is no point in fixing the sleeve. This is the reason I often do the collar by picking up stitches or using a provisional cast on. I find it easier to make adjustments regarding fit after the yoke is complete. BTW berroco vintage yarn is great both in Dk and worsted.
Those are really helpful suggestions, thank you!
What a lovely surprise to see you podcasting again! I love your Autumn Alpine, I wonder what the neckline would look like folded over? If it looks ok, carry on, it will look stunning when done and I love the colours you have chosen.
Hm that’s worth trying out! Thanks for the idea ❤️
This was lovely to watch 💕 I’m also doing some gifts and kids knits with acrylic blends and more affordable yarns - they’re so practical!! And affordable! And I like that when I give someone something that’s really easy to care for and wash I don’t feel like I’m giving them homework 😂
So true! I've ended up giving people detailed care instructions before and then found out later they've been too scared to wear the item! Definitely sometimes makes sense to go for the more practical options <3
