No the clocks are linked to the ECU

It’s quicker because it’s a real motorsport ford car not like the new age. It’d have a mk2 rs for breakfast, diner and two for tea. Good effort tho!
Sounds awesome !! But where did you get the figures for the rs500 600bhp he would of pulled on a 430bhp rs alot harder then that 🤷♂️ nice vid tho 👌
We met him when we got to rs nationals at donny. Sound lad. He pulled away hard enough lol. This was a good while ago now but its good to see people still watching this now n again. Love the old classics

Hello, i got the same problem, how did you fix it, because the scanning informs a problem with the body acceleration and the acceleration pedal. Sorry if i dont speak well, i m from argentina, thanks
I fixed it by changing the instrument cluster. I was originally told it was the ecu but I heard of the cluster causing electrical issues so decided to change that first as it was cheaper. It was a straight swap however I needed the milage setting on the new clocks. Hope This helps. And your English is very good. 🤘
@@182Spike182 hi my cars 2010 ford focus diesel the same lights coming on ive change filter oil ect. whe i go up a hill i need to put it in 4 or 5 gear it goses so slow. did you have same problem?
I just had this same issue 😡😡 I sent the cluster off to be re-soldered, then got a new ECU installed. ££££

hi I was wondering what you used to cut out the honeycomb and how do you get on with the plod with your number plate behind the grille?
Either the plate is attached behind the grill, or you have spray painted the grill to create the image

Priceless until smash up the arse end of somebody driving safe and kill a hole family....
hi did you remove the top grill or place mesh grill over the top of original honeycomb. also is the bottom a direct replacement of original honeycomb. only ask as some reviews I've read say they sit on top of the original grills.

This focus has 420hp, it's probably faster than most things on the road.

I have the same problem, I have just had it dropped into Pumabuild, they firstly tried changing the ECU, that hasn't worked now they are changing the clocks, Hope it works..
i also hope you resolve it, however it would of been more cost effective to of tried the clocks first. keep us posted as i get quite a few pm's about people having this problem

Wow, it was the Speedo clocks! unbelievable... Happy its fixed tho now, getting a piper exhaust fitted to treat her too :)
how did you get the replacement cluster for £85? a second hand one or you blag ford?
second hand matey. was out of a 29k mile car.
so needed the milage correcting once installed

what was the problem on this? mine has just started doing the same.
i replaced the speedometer and clock cluster and it solved everything

Yes Rhys, exactly what solved my problem. Bloody unbelievable how silly something like that can make the car act up so much. Needless to say 85quid later it was all fixed and sorted.
Great to hear that you solved your issue... When my dad had that issue he took it to 2 different ford garages and they couldn't work it out but a day with an independent auto electrician did the trick. Plus 85 quid was cheap I think when we got it done it was around 200. Btw nice car and hopefully no more issues fingers crossed.
This may not help but my dad had a similar problem on his 06 St and it turned out to be the dials (speedo and rev counter)... Hope you get it fixed soon mate
