Because BBATAI somehow display pictures, when trying to change the FOUNDING RELIGION ART, I just used Taoist NIF clip and edited the DDS texture asociated with it. And ey, it looks great.

Hi, thank you for still making these videos! By watching them I've managed to make a mod with custom civilization and leaders. Do you think you could do a video on adding custom music to leaders? (You could just pick some random royalty free music as an example.)

I can't wait for part 2. Figuring out how to make a leaderhead would be super cool, but the resources right now are weird and outdated. Ekmek's guide stops making sense when it comes to UV remapping thing.

4:53 I'd add a little tip for modders from Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, other countries using Cyrillic (altho i guess the same for other countries not using Latin) that scenario files do not really understand any symbols except for Latin, so it'd be better to name the city by it's name in xml file like "TXT_KEY_CITY_NAME_[city name]" and then in text xml files add its name in your langauge, if you are using the translation mods or smth. Same with Scenario name, it should be only named with Latin symbols or/and numerals

All I wanna do, is make it so Mech Infantry requires oil just like tanks, choppers, bombers, fighters etc... WHY THIS ISN'T A PART OF THE BASE GAME IS BEYOND ME! This video may be fine to make an entire new unit, but all I wanna do, is change the requirement for an existing unit.

Thanks for the explanation >:) just a quick question in advance: if I do not want to delete certain things from the leaderhead model but just slightly move the dots, for example, to change facial features, won't it corrupt the nif file, so it'd be either unreadable for Civ, or conflict with kif thus changing the animation for the worst?

Gonna try your tips, hopefully they'll help to design my own leaderheads in future :D and hopefully this works with buildings as well, because some models really look not as good as they could be (i.g., i hate how Hagia Sophia looks in the original Civ4). Anyway, thank you for your videos, looking forward to watch new blender tutorials!

Hi, i starting to moding this game, hoy i can modificate the base production when i build a city? Always in one base production but how, i can put maybe 10 of base production when build a New city,

tried doing the unpacking it doesnt even run the unpacking. It allows me to choose but nothing happens. Is this a universal .fpk unpacker and packer tool?

This was helpful. I have unpacked files with PakBuild before, but I've never known how to pack them. Never knew you had to have a parent-folder above the Art-folder. I agree it is probably only useful for finished mods with a lot of graphics files, and not for works-in-progress. But now that I know how to use it to pack files, I'll have to try it one day (when I have the time).

And if you don't have GIMP you can use the simpler Paint .NET to save .dds-files. It gets the job done if all you need to do is to make a button. [EDIT: Without the space between the "t" and the "." in paint dot net - I had to insert it due to TH-cam thinking it was a link... silly TH-cam...]
