Kannad Safe Link SOLO PLB Test
In this video we are going to test a Kannad Safe Link Solo PLB (integrated into a Mullion Compact PFD) with the satellite 406MHz which the COSPAS/SARSAT satellite receives and relays to a Local User's Terminal(LUT) on 1.5GHz.
In the event of a man overboard, the PLB (once activated by the user) will emit a signal and once received by the satellite and notify the emergency services of a distress and deploy personnel to your location.
Please not this is only a test and not an emergency situation.
This test is recommended once every 6 months.
At Cavanagh Nets, we are authorised to carry on the maintenance of all Mullion Lifejackets with and without PLB.

Here we show you how we rig in house, here in Greencastle. In this video we are making a heavy rig for bottom fishing with a heavy No.4 lead line on the foot rope and a solid deep water float on the top rope. Using our 201/66 Anzalon Nylon mounting twine.
