Another thing is you always go where you look. Look at where you need to go and not at the danger you’re trying to avoid. Something the msf course taught me that i took even though i grandfathered in for my motorcycle license
Actually have a Chevelle. And a zx6r. Despite what gixxer brah said once, running at redline constantly is not good for engines. If stuff got in the oil and is causing galling, hopefully isn’t doing it everywhere. Take the valve cover off and see whats goin on in there. And hopefully the valve lash was at least checked at some point

@pitchforkpeasant6219 Thanks man. The galling on the oil pump occurred in the old engine, I'm pretty sure, and then they just swapped it to the new one. So I don't think there should be any damage to the bearings, but we will see.

Any plans on ever going twin fans on your zx6r? Sitting for any reason, the bike gets hot fast. The stunt riders will do it, but videos of doing it are damn near nonexistent

@pitchforkpeasant6219 Both, but specifically the bike was getting hot. It was like 107 that day. My bike has dual fans from the factory, it's an 07.

I had a 2023 Zx6R.... fun bike but I upgraded to the ZX10. The big thing I noticed was that the quick shift on the 6 was that it only shifted UP but not down. My 10 lets me quick shift both up and down. That's a feature that I really wish they had given the 6.
@@RealRickCox yes that would be nice. Mine is an 07, so no factory qs. I put an annitori qs on it. It will do up and down, but I would need an autoblipper to rev match for the qs down.

GSX-R750 is the Best. I admit, I may have buyer's confirmation bias. On my 2nd year (EDIT: 2nd Riding Season - bought last spring, stored over winter to avoid road salt) with mine, and still infatuated.
They are the best bike.
