Your english lesson for today 😂is latun as far as I can make out is just plain brass ie copper/small amount of tin and zinc and whatever other crap that ends up in it. Bearings/ bushes are usually made from bronze which is copper and a higher proportion of tin ie like cymbals (I play drums🙂} and phosphor bronze which has added phosphorous. I hope you get the set up in Spain that you want and maybe if my BSA finally gets done and running reliably I may have a ride around Spain and call in to say hello would be nice to ride around in some nice weather.

Estou assistindo do Brasil A Norton tem belas máquinas infelizmente não foram comercializadas por aqui Ótimo trabalho
The head steady on a Norton featherbed frame id part of the frame structure and design You absolutely must support the top of the headstock You need a triangular plate at least 6mm thick that bolts to the headstock then the cross tube Then the engine The holes need to be drilled the exact size for the bolts If you don't use a plate as described the bike won't handle well And there's potential for the down tubes to crack as often happens The head steady on your bike is dangerous

Norton looking good the word you were looking for regards seat hump/cowl is (symmetrical) so that's you english lesson for today 🙃🙂👍
Stress fractures re pushrods it happens or poor quality manufacturing. Maybe aftermarket even ?? Hope you sort a new place soon as it must be a pain being in nowhere land.
Cleanup more like Top end rebuild at best 😂

It's always great to see the passion with which you work. I absolutely agree with you, even the classic bikes have a right to be driven a lot and are not just for looking at. I love the background music with the blues, it not only emphasises the passion but is also the sound of sorrow for the coming farewell...

The head on the Norton looks to be far beyond fixing? Never seen one that bad. What size is the engine 750? If you were closer I would send you a better one, how much would it cost to send one to Spain from Colorado? Chuck.

Hi from NZ , I have a B33 , have you ever compared the 38 degrees to a sparkplug gauge measurement ? For instance the B33 sparkplug is at an angle , maybe 45degrees and the setting is 9.5mm or ⅜ how does this compare to the degree wheel ? Cheers

Love my Norton commando, with special engine parts fitted like Super blend crankshaft main bearings, Barnett clutch plates ,omega single billet pistons, Boyer electronic ignition and a large single mikuni carbi ,the aim is to have even pressure pulses on the moving crankshaft..for reliability and amore durable motor.
The Commando sounds fantastic with the throttle wide open… what a beast! 👍✅😎❤️
