@urbansk8r231 Hey there! So you're wondering if you need to use the same brand for both your root tabs and liquid fertilizer? Well, think of it like cooking a recipe. Just like how different brands of ingredients might have slightly different formulations, your fertilizers might have different "recipes" too. But, as long as you're following the instructions and not overdoing it, you can mix and match brands without worrying too much. In your case, you're already using Seachem root tabs and Jag Aquatic Pro liquid fertilizer, and that's totally fine! Just keep an eye on your tank's water parameters and adjust your fertilizing as needed. And if you want to add some extra nutrients for your epiphyte and floating plants, you can try a water column fertilizer specifically designed for aquatic plants. That way, you can give them a little boost without inviting algae to the party!

@@fitpetss Thanks for speedy reply. I was just curious The Jag aquatic pro is for high demanding plants like Rotala Ramisior Florida, which requires Nitrate limitation to keep it red. I don't like stressing the red plants out all the time. I just do that on an off. So I have to raise nitrates. That liquid fert is highly concentrated. Says to use 5ml for l00l ( 26g) My tank is 65l (17g ) so i use 2.5ml x 2 a week plus have to add nitrogen. So I also ordered Jag advanced nitrogen to increase nitrate. I also noticed gsa on my glass, so I orded Jag advanced Phosphorus which helps with that and plants. ( might test it 1st)it's a sign it's low. And I ordered advance potassium just incase. not sure if I need iron though. Hopefully I'm on my way to a healthy tank.

When a fish dies it comes and floats over the surface of water level laying down on its side. BUT you can clearly observe that the fish is under the water and is not laying too in the water.... ☺️☺️☺️

Seachem tabs and liquid target different plant needs. Tabs feed roots, liquid feeds leaves. Use tabs for heavy root feeders, liquid for water column feeders. Some hobbyists even use both for complete feeding! If you have any other query, please let me know. Thank You.
