I have a question you may or may not be able to answer. I just bought an old treadle singer machine. It was born in 1908. I can’t find a manual for that year anywhere. Would you possibly know where I could find one? Maybe give me an idea of where I should look?

I presume your channel is about sewing and not just a one off! At least I hope so! I bought sewing machines for my three nieces. Oh gosh, I guess five years ago now. Shame on this aunt. I never taught them to so I’m so mad at myself. They’re not interested now :-(

could u do a vid about how to properly thread the machine? Ive had a sewing machine sitting in my storage for yrs bc I didn't know how to thread it and rlly want to start sewing again!

Will you do a video on the right sewing machine, serger, etc to buy? I have a vintage sewing machine that came in a cabinet that kinda chews or eats the fabric. I have no idea why? So I'm looking on getting another sewing machine. At first I was considering the Singer Heavy duty. Or at least I was until I saw the Bernette B79 sewing and embroidery machine. I then also saw the Singer 9950 because it says it has 600 stitches. The vintage sewing machine I have that came in it's on cabinet does not have a zigzag stitch. And then there's that eating or chewing the fabric that just gets stuck. I do want to sew but also like embroidery. I also am looking into a serger. I wanted to initially make matching jogger sets, tshirt dresses, a denim corset with matching skirt, how to downsize a really comfortable jacket that is now too big and how to make alterations to gowns.

Part two: looking at the inspo it seems, that the button-line is 1/3rd to one side and 2/3rds on the other (look where it lines up with the black label) and then it seems like a simple wrap with the two ends. Maybe that's why your version with the really clever straps inside the shirt did not work out - because the buttons of your shirts are in the middle
