All It Contains

Documenting our adventures as we explore the Lord’s Earth, and all it contains.
Great Plains Adventure
We traveled from Florida in search of Sharptails and Huns. Our destination was Northern Montana although the weather would not allow that. Sometimes you got go with the flow so we set our sights on South Dakota. A nasty cold front rolled in making travel impossibly dangerous. Roads completely iced up. Our first stop was beautiful but the birds were not very numerous. We decided to keep searching for better habitat. Our perseverance paid off and we got into some birds. It was awesome to hunt this part of the country! We found Pheasants, Huns and Sharptails. The guns we used were a Beretta 20 gauge over and under, a Remington 1187 20 gauge, a Benelli Vinci 12 gauge and a Tristar Viper G2 .410.

One Short of a Limit... Last Day Dove
มุมมอง 1.6Kหลายเดือนก่อน
The last day of dove season, "bitter sweet". After dodging a few cows in my Jeep I took to the field with my Benelli Vinci in 12 gauge. This day I was shooting Winchester AA's 7 1/2 shot. The wind was howling and the birds were flying fast! The cold weather up North had pushed these birds into our area. When the day ended I was one bird short of a limit but I was good with that. This was a grea...

Check out the long form video on my channel! Thank you for watching. “The Earth is the Lord’s and all it contains” Psalm 24:1 and many other places by the way….
Looks like your editing skills are increasing! So awesome.
Thanks man! I’m trying
Sweet looking rig. I've got too many but I've never owned a Winchester shotgun of any make. Might be time to look. Maybe time to add another dirty girl.
Gotta love shotguns! I’m looking for the one that makes me quit looking although hoping I never find it! My first firearm was a 20 gauge Winchester pump. It has been many years since I had even considered a Winchester. There is a lot I like about this gun although I would say it’s quality is right at where it’s price point is. We had some reliability issues early on, but now that I feel that I have the lube right by using dry lube it has been performing very well recently, although the gun is still too new to me for my final decision. There is a lot I like about it. Honestly, it has brought me to consider the Browning Maxus 12 gauge which I looked at earlier today. What is your current favorite? What is your primary use?
Bad to the bone
Thank you!
What I like: Very reliable Lightweight Best loading port Simple to clean What I don’t like: Bolt handle needed pliers(leather over no scratches) to remove. Higher recoil than gas guns. Can’t figure out how to completely strip the bolt??
Once you take out the bolt there is a black pin on the side in the back, pull it with your nails while pressing the "firing pin head" in the back(its easy). Pull out the firing pin, Then turn it upside down so the silver thick cylinder falls off. Then pull front part off bolt and that's it😊
@@timtanx Thank you! I will mess with it when I get home. I pulled the firing pin out and removed the little cylinder guide for the firing pin and somehow still could not get the bolt head out, but I will mess with it some more.
I have a Benelli Vinci and can completely strip its bolt. No problem same with the Super Black Eagle 2.
@@allitcontains since you pulled out the silver cylinder pull the front part and it will come off
Don't know what's up with your fore end but mine doesn't do that. The loading gate opening is absolutely terrible imo
How reliable has yours been? Is it a 20 gauge or a 12?
@@allitcontains it's a 20 also
@@carter4627 has yours jammed at all?
@@carter4627 Have you seen the new style of the Benelli M2? I am shocked at how much I like the new curved loading port. My favorite yet!
Just purchased mine in12 gauge. It won’t cycle short brass dove loads. “ Remington or Winchester “. Have to send back to Factory. Not happy 🤬
Sorry to hear about that! That’s unfortunate. So far, I am not overly impressed with this one although I have not made my final opinion yet. Although there are some things I do really like about this gun.
I recently had to send a barrel back on a Tristar .410 it was the worst perfuming semi auto I have ever seen. About to test it soon and see if they fixed it. The chamber was too tight and shells would not extract. Although I will say they got it back fast.
Keep me posted on how yours goes. Shotgun performance really intrigues me. I am always looking for the best. But part of me hopes I never find it.
One more thing. I have seen times when AA’s or Remington STS will cycle better due to the smooth finish on the hull.
I sure don't want directions to your fav hunting spot! ...but, might this be public on lands? We have extremely limited choices up here in Tallahassee. Often Georgia does a better job of public dove shooting territory... and it's getting harder all the time to find farmers willing to let you shoot in their fields.
I have seen better shows put on by teenagers!
Check out the last shot in this one. That was a teenager! Dove Hunting In South Georgia Two Limits and a Close Encounter With a Water Moccasin 2023 th-cam.com/video/waolisEMMfE/w-d-xo.html
Noice bro! I expect an invite next time!!! Although I don't think you want your viewers seeing you get smoked by some random dude
Let’s do it this year!! Like old times
Awesome hunt!
Thank you!
Good hunting 👍
Thank you! Dove season starts real soon in Georgia!
Nice, here in Texas the season starts on Sunday 1st 🙈
@@Cherokeesdelacaceriaymas oh I’m jealous! One day I want to hunt dove in Texas! Such an iconic hunt.
What gun is that
It’s a 12 gauge Benelli Vinci. With the 3 inch chamber not the 3.5 inch. This gun has been extremely reliable. Although it will not cycle 1oz loads. It has honestly never jammed on an 1 1/8th oz load.
@@allitcontains oh alright coo looks very nice I have a nova benelli but looking to get auto but seen some don’t cycle 1 oz load really well but just have to buy 1-1/8 oz
Great great hunt. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Dove season is almost here again! Two weeks. Looking forward to it

Just subscribed to your channel. I’m moving back to central Florida and marrying a girl with 2 young boys and can’t wait to get them outside! Can you do a video of how you find fields? Not the ones you go to exactly but the process of finding them. Thanks!
Thanks for subscribing! And welcome to Florida! There is a decent amount of public land in this state for hunting opportunities. Concerning dove in particular there are some public fields but not too many. FWC website is place to go for research. I believe all the public fields will allow you to bring a youth if you draw a quota hunt permit. Your network of people is your best connection to good fields. I recommend developing that network with like minded people. Sporting clays tournaments, charity shoots and other similar events are great way to develop these relationships. I wish you the best in your marriage. I encourage you to seek God first. Your primary role is to be the spiritual leader of your family. Study his word and pray without ceasing. Happy hunting!
@@allitcontains Thanks. I am originally from there and moved to Alaska. God put this amazing lady in my world and is bringing me back! Thank you for the encouragement and ALWAYS put God first! He never leads astray !
@@Familytiesfishing so what’s your opinion on Alaska? I’ve never been there but plan to hopefully in the next couple years.
I'm in central Florida and we have great dove fields on our cattle ranch
Awesome! What do you prefer to plant? My friend that has fields said there were a bunch of birds this year already. This was a week ago. Hopefully this will be a good start to the season.

Another great day on the water. The ride was long and when the sun was out it sure got hot! This new boat is doing great!
Ever think about or trying prs or nrl hunter comps with that rifle?
It would be an excellent rifle for NRL Hunter. These matches are just starting to show up here in the south east. I have never shot in one but would really like to. I have shot in about 10 or 12 PRS matches. I typically use a 6 BRA which is very heavy 21 pounds.
Do you shoot PRS or NRL Hunter?
That boat looks awesome!
Thanks man!

Holy Moly that’s a big shark!! Thoroughly enjoyed watching the video! Also, I don’t think anyone would have questioned you stretching on the dock as long as you had your Mang hat on! lol
