MODUS OPERANDI form the Artisan's Palette...Robert and Debra reveal 1880s Victorian design hidden under modern metallic paint since the 1950s. Recreated just as the Victorian decorator carried out the craft of organ pipe ornamentation and gilding!

I did my first oak grained door when I was 17 I was taught by a chap that worked for the National Trust as I did years later .We mostly grained in pubs .

The panels of wooden doors are solid that little strip that you have taken so much care to grain horizontally would actually go up and down like the rest of the panel other than that keep working your getting pretty good
