OLC 4O Class 27 A36 Writing a Summary & A37:Writing a Cover Letter (cont'd), Term 1A, 2024-2025
In this video, we complete our work on Assignment 37, which is our cover letter. We then circle back and examine Assignment 36, which is a News Report on Chapter 9 of our novel, “Jimmy Comes Home”. We review the criteria for a good news story, including the inverted triangle format, the objective tone, and the 3rd person POV writing style. We review the different criteria and expectations between the rough copy and the final draft.
