Here is the corrected text: We are deeply grateful to the family of General Fedeli Majɔk Mabiör Gak of Kɔŋgör, Tonj, for giving their beloved and wonderful daughter, Atiu Majɔk, in marriage to our son, Aru Mawan. Dinka marriage is not merely a union between a couple; it is a union between families and communities. In this light, Aru and Atiu's marriage represents the coming together of the Muɔrtäts and the Mabiörs; the Patiɔp and the Pacol clans; the great communities of Rumbek and Tonj - and one could even say, a connection between the broader regions of Arämwër and Wärrap. I give tribute to all the artists who poured their amazing talents into composing this incredibly beautiful set of marriage songs in keeping with tradition. What a privilege! The songs will be part of Aru and Atiu's legacy that they will pass on to their children and subsequent generations, in Jesus' name. These young artists are among the best in South Sudan today and are the creators of the new musical genre - a mix of traditional and modern styles of dong - that has gripped the whole society. No words can express our gratitude to the many family and friends who came to celebrate the wedding with us.
