The Northern Adelaide Mental Health Alliance is a coalition of mental health and community stakeholders who act collaboratively to drive system reform and integration. A range of service innovations have emerged as a direct result of the Alliance, such as the co-commissioning of Adelaide’s first Safe Haven Café with Adelaide Primary Health Network.

The team provided outstanding expertise and leadership in meeting challenges to support the greater community. Their engagement strategies and ongoing implementation of the mobile program was key to successfully lifting vaccination rates in the northern suburbs. Working with local councils, community groups and businesses was key to the team’s success.

In late 2019, NALHN was approached by Flinders University to place medical students for the very first time. The project commenced in early 2020 with a continuous improvement framework that has driven ongoing positive change within NALHN.
