The Bible does not teach that the wicked burn forever in the lake of fire. The most well known verse says they will perish: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life Malachi teaches they will be burned up and turned to ashes. Malachi 4:1,3 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts. Psalms teaches the wicked will consume away. Psalm 37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away For info regarding the texts where the word forever is used go to this website helltruth.com www.helltruth.com/free-resources/book-and-article-library/hell
Love some of the points you made. I have actually started reading the book. I am just a bit concerned with your understanding of the sabbath. Most of what I have read, have shown me that saturday is the 7th day, which is the sabbath.
Thank you Dowie for your thoughts on this video. Glad to hear you've started reading the book too, it's great. As far as the sabbath goes, we know from the Bible that the Jewish sabbath is from sundown Friday to sundown on Saturday, which is considered the 7th day. That is the Jewish sabbath. Christians celebrate the Lord's Day, on Sunday, because it is the first day of the week when Jesus rose from the dead. Common held practice in Christian churches is then that the day of rest is Sunday. As mentioned in the video, go to our website, I'll provide the link here; salvationstudiohouse.com/life-%26-death-of-mr-badman. There you can scroll down to Chapter 2 - Part 3 - Mr. Badman's Distaste For Church, open it up to read the Overview of the message itself which will bring greater clarity. God bless you.
@@salvationstudiohouse8165Where as the Jews kept it, it was not the Jewish sabbath, because Adam and eve were not Jews. And you are correct the 7th day is sun down Friday to sun down Saturday. This was mentioned from the Beginning in the book of Genesis (Genesis 2:1-3). And further confirmed in Exodus 20:6-11. The New Testament even mentions Jesus going to the sanctuary on the sabbath day. And honestly, If that's what Jesus did, I want to do what he did rather than a common held practice.
Thank you for sharing your points on the matter.
I wanted to ask though, Why not celebrate his "rest" which is mentioned in Genesis as something that he did, rather than his resurrection in the New Testament?
Where has this teaching been my ENTIRE LIFE? DEAR GOD THANK YOU!!!
We're glad you're being ministered to by these videos. God bless you.
Thank you for this great vid. Helped me - especially the part about "forsaking wife or children". I would love a wife and children but I don't think I am going to be able to get married and therefore have children. But we shall see.:)
Thank you for your comments. Feedback is always wonderful. We've just posted Program 14 so you can view it at your convienience. God Bless you, our prayers are with you.
Hey Mr Badman, why you off chuckin what I we You might frighten them But you don’t frighten me
Nice work
Thank you. Programs 12 and 13 are now able to be viewed also. Jesus bless you.
Old English? Bunyan didn’t write in Old English; he didn’t even write in Middle English. Bunyan is still considered Modern English like the KJV is Modern English.
Thank you for your comment...much appreciated. That general term was used because when we read the book of The Life and Death of Mr. Badman, it was very difficult to understand as it was not the colloquial English that we read or speak now-a-days, unless you've studied as an English Major or you're a Linguist familiar with that era of writing. That's why we referenced and thanked Dr. Geoffrey Stonier from the United Kingdom, who rewrote the book in English that is read and spoken today, in more layman's terms. Thanks again and God Bless you.
Salvation Studio House Ah, I see. Perhaps it’s because for my undergraduate degree I minored in English that the wording doesn’t seem to bother me. I also happen to like the KJV best, so I’m very familiar with the style. Although I don’t have a problem with translations like the NASB or ESV.
