How come you use such heavy wall tube? normally on exhausts I use 1.6mm wall in 304 ss
@@Certified-- sch10 pipe is pretty standard for turbo manifolds as they see the most abuse and highest temps on a exhaust system. It’s pretty rare to see thin wall tube being used on a turbo manifold.
Great informative vid, thanks for schooling us. I’m about to start dabbling into inconel. Hopefully the thin stuff is ok for a band saw. I’d hate to manually cut them all. 😅
@@aviorperformance thin stuff will trash a bandsaw blade immediately too. You need to gut it with a fiber disc. There are specific band saw blades for cutting inco, but the size blades they come in won’t work on my saw. They come in some pretty large sizes.
Would love a build breakdown on the e46 Interested in seeing your rear rad setup
@@brandonlumaban2981 I plan to do something on it soon! It needs a new motor and need to refresh some things so might do some content with that stuff as well
Extra heavy duty
Do you buy your exhaust flanges or cnc them yourself? I'd love to get one made if possible.
@@fredbelford4129 some flanges I buy off the shelf, others I have made if no one makes them or makes a good quality flange.
@@corymisko Well if you have the time, would I be able to send you a design? If so, what would your pricing be?
@fredbelford4129 shoot me an email at cory@freshproducemfg.com If you need it CNC, a custom one off flange is going to be pricey. I usually have them done in batches of 5 to keep my machinist happy. But I can also have them laser cut if need. Specify what material in the email as well.
Beautiful work. Why do some build manifolds in 304 and some like you in 625? Subscribed to the channel from Italy.😉
I like what I see of these primeweld machines ,sadly UK customs would hold it for a ridiculous ransom.Nice welding there👍
@@Hood_Tyme_Fab ahh man sorry to hear that. Have you talked with anyone from primeweld to see if there’s something they can do to speed that up or is UK customs just that bad?
😍😍😍
Its a nice video, thanks for this. I got my 325 black friday this year.
I agree 1.4 is the sweet spot for pulse That is definitely one of the more annoying things about this machine, but for the most part I love it
@@amcustomfab I absolutely love the machine. Just needs a few minor improvements to make the machine that much better. Best value per dollar ratio of anything on the market now imo.
Has anyone used the PrimeWeld 325 versus the HTP 301 Tig?
Another option for modifying the HF cart: I just pulled up on the the support tubes so they are horizontal instead of angle back, redrilled the two holes on the vertical to support it, and machined 2" aluminum spacers for offsetting the welder tray, and bolted it back up with 90mm machine screws.
Woooooooo
@@Drift.Things howdy! 🤠
Heck yeah cory! Good video
@@Precisiontigwelding thanks Drew!
Where did you get that little welding table that’s a perfect size
@@redbull5859 it’s 3 fixture tables bolted together from primeweld. I have a video on them too.
I’m torn between this machine and the typhoon 330!
Primeweld, the Everlast sucks. All there boards blow up and arc stability on AC is non existent
@ really? I heard the new typhoons have much better arc start and stability.
@@thedude6650 yeah my everlast 255ext sucks on AC for years I thought it was something I was doing wrong. But it’s a common issue the more I looked into it. Supposedly the newer stuff is better but I haven’t tried any of the newer stuff yet.
About damn time you’re back!
@@kyle.barbauld 😅😅 I’ve been slackin
@@kyle.barbauld I recorded this video back in may 😂💀
@@corymisko Ha no wonder. Did you move into new shop? I remember I saw it somewhere on your IG story?
@kyle.barbauld yes I officially moved everything from the old shop to the new shop September 1st. Was about a 2 month period of not working to make that happen.
Damn your good man.
@@mustangal8534 thank you!!
I’m a machinist and have turned inconel 625 and 718 and it totally sucks to cut! And very expensive just material alone over $20,000 per part for nuclear power plant.
@@mustangal8534 definitely a very unforgiving material to work with.
Wish someone could teach me how to do this
I could probably give you a virtual crash course but there’s many videos on here showing the process
Much better than some crappy hacked up stock manifolds. Great fit up these look fun to weld! Love welding inconel.
How much did that cost?
Is the bottom nitrided also? I'd be kind of pissed if my brand new table had rust on it.
The whole thing is coated. Im not too worried about the bottom anyways. I let them know just so they can keep track of the QC. They offered to swap it out for another one but it didnt bother me. If it was on the top side thats a different story.
That's nice
😮😮😮
I need a manifold just like that who did it
I made it.
@ Thats insane
What kind of wheel you using to polish the elbow on the orange bench grinder
its a hard nylon mesh wheel
Is that Scotch-Brite Multi-Finishing Wheel for polishing?
Its a nylon mesh wheel
Excellent review. I wonder if you reversed the left side table if it would true up the top?
Where do you find inconel pipe for one off jobs? Any time I talk to anyone about metal they don't have much interest in selling bits and pieces. I wish my welds were that consistent. What rod are you using?
Ive sourced 625 from Woolf Aircraft and Tri-Star steel. im using a Crown 625 filler rod
Wicked respect, a true master of his craft. You have more craftsmanship in one finger than most will achieve in a lifetime.
A week of prepare😂
Are you aware another channel, something like arccaptain-weld has reposted this video and has loads of views? Did they get your permission? They do credit you, but most of the lazy Shorts viewers are ignoring the description and commenting there like that channel is where this comes from.
Wasn’t aware at all. Thanks
They took the video from my TikTok. And that’s why they didn’t tag my TH-cam. Good catch tho
Dows it make sense to run this on something like drift? Also does it sound any different?
Heck yes! That's awesome man. Don't sell yourself short with your skills. Great job and skill.
Thanks dude! I definitely try not too.
It could be better😂
Rude 😂😂
Lol you know I'm kidding. I'm really glad to see you thriving in your new habitat 😁
🔥🔥🔥
Very nice mate 👌🏻
Thanks!
Freakin beautiful…… man I wish I I’ll never claim to be a welder but atm this very moment I’m teaching myself how to weld aluminum. What I have accomplished would have a real welder laughing on the ground. Lmao
That’s how we all start out man. Keep going!
Damn straight, make sure their all equal lengths
Why is that material so thick ? :D Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of having inconel exhaust ?
How do you calc it
1 mil of shrinkage per weld joint roughly. And I have my ways of making adjustments if I miss it and it’s still too long or too short.
Outstanding, i love your videos
Thanks Andy!
It fits so well... Ahhh I'm *edging~~~~*
😂😂😂
Fukcin sexual really🔥
Без провара 😮,ужасно просто всё.
That is just a thing of glorious satisfying engineering beauty, bloody well done sir
Thank you!! 🤝
Is this your own work?
Absolutely
Where did you get the ball that can handle the pressure from the press? I make collectors as well and have a cone that I use but occasionally it bottoms out on the inside of the collector.
@@RascoeGarage I’ve been using cones for a wheel balancer too. The ones I bought a cheap China ones and aren’t hardened. So they deform and get stuck etc. This is a hardened 2.5” ball bearing I got off Amazon for like $40. Works amazing and doesn’t deform.
@@corymisko good to know man! Thanks for sharing. Your work is amazing by the way.
@@RascoeGarage no problem! And thank you! 🤝
