What rubbish! There are very few people that gain from keeping it going, its only about money, not welfare and the majority of farmers are against it. You are perpetuating a dying industry, wake up.

Pity you did also not do your study again before taking a wrong track. Just like when you supported the "Voice" which relied on false information and poor historical research as well as being out of touch with a whole range of relevant people's desires and needs and wiped aside the respect for their own application of intelligence that takes into account the many real factors and needs of people who were most affected. What will be your next major blunder ? One only bemoans what if you continue this way.

I vote "left" I am progressve, and I am in favour of the bans (especially after years ago looking at Barney's efforts concerning live exports) but I must say that you seriously covered this topic and spoke well. You impressed me with your calm headed approach, your logic but most of all, your willingness to consult with and listen to both sides of ths topic, along with discussing it with farmers, vets, pro banning advocates etc. I'm glad that I took the time to watch this. Your approach is how I wish that all politics should be done

No. It's not politics. It's greedy business men...now women. Greed. That's what it is Which HAS NO PLACE IN POLITICS! money rules. Ethics never have. These people are meant to WORK FOR US. The people she's saving from suffering that she talks about are veeeery few majority men that are worried they're profits. They aren't what they use to be or could be and that's it! Our government use to be much better than it has been in the last 10 years. It's become about moneu, dirty money, corruption and more money. U think she's in this position to be a voice for her people!?! No. It's her JOB. That pays her. Moneymoneymoney. That's why we need to throw out the current government amd start again. There are people in this country that want to make a difference. That want what's best for us all. That will enforce our word and way. That will do their job and work for us! We just won't do a thing about it though We accept and follow. Sheep. And look what happens to sheep. Exported across oceans, ALIVE, in the worst conditions you can imagine, beaten, mistreated, starved then slaughtered. But hey, who cares right! Once they're thrown on those ships, counted and sent on their way, it's not our problem..is it. Unless the money isn't paid. THEN there's a problem. Fukn sickening.

Why isn’t the United Nations calling out the bullshit coming from Kate Chaney? The truth is that she is the elected representative of one of the richest seats in Australia. The residents there don’t give a shit about cost, all they worry about is the supply of Chardie at their little get togethers.

How is it that someone smart, intelligible and straight-forward (like Kate Chaney) isn't in the position of leading this country, yet Albanese who seems like a frightened little turtle who stammers and gives off the impression of a corporate 'yes man' IS in control??? If this woman ran for PM - I'd vote her in over the numpties they usually get to run this country.

Thank you so much for having the courage (that I never doubted), and the integrity (that is your hallmark), for listening and then making your decision. I cannot thank you enough. Kate simply nailed this interview. Want to ease the cost of living pressures -act on the science now and provide certainty the energy market. The coalition plan to do nothing for next 10yrs (in addition to the previous coalition decade of regressive wasteful anti climate yrs) to then build the most expensive form of energy supply is just not a credible alternative solution. Get on with climate mitigation and the green energy transition now, so Aust can realise the associated cheaper energy and eco growth that comes with new markets.

  • @kerryellison3723

The climate activists have no idea the cost to every day people. Australia should of built new power stations years ago. Both sides of government all of them listened to the crazies around the world. As a result they have destroyed our power grid. Destroying the environment to go green makes no sense. All these inner city greenies have no idea the destruction that's going on and they don't care.
