Serena would lose to Venus in the SF, but made sure to win Cincy to make up for not defending the Montreal title. Her Woz rematch, a few weeks later in the USO Final, wasn't nearly as close. Serena was READY.

Serena really had an all around game. Huge serve w/ immense variety, power, angles, and great defense. Point starting at 11:31 is just a prime example of how she could turn defense into offense so seamlessly.
