House Xmas Lights
Our colour-shifting LED wall-washing lights on the house this year. The lights are hooked together via DMX cables, and fade between colour schemes every 2 and and a half minutes, with a 30 second transition fade time.

interlocking brick

An interval camera catches a week of interlocking brick installation in our front yard. We get a blast of early snow at one point, and we also have Halloween in the middle of the week.
Assorted UK trip video clips

A collection loosely related clips from my last trip to London and Edinburgh: The digital fountain outside our hotel in Stratford, which consisted of flashing LCD panels and water noise, the animatronic T-Rex at the NHM, assorted light effects at the Camera Obscura near Edinburgh castle, the weaving loom next door to the Camera Obscura, and a light sculpture at Heathrow.

Spring in Ottawa

I was in the U.K. for a week. I set up my camera expecting to catch the greening of our garden as the weather warmed. I didn't expect to see it snow three times while I was gone.
christmas house lights 2

The assorted lights on our house for Christmas 2015. The weird red-green-blue light shining on the snow is an Aurora laser. We try to do something new with the lights each year. Success is when the lights are tasteful, but still slow traffic on the street.
snow melt and freezing rain 2

A week of unsettled weather at the end of March in Ottawa compressed into a minute. It snows twice, melts twice, plus there's a blast of freezing rain, and finally plain, old rain. I mounted a Brinno time-lapse camera above my front door, and aimed it at the park across the street.

venice stewart remembrance video

This is the video we showed at my Mom's (Venice Stewart) funeral. It features a multitude of photos from a variety of sources. I also had a couple of video clips which I placed at the end of the photo montage. The song is "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose", sung by Kenneth McKellar, which was a favorite of both of my parents.
Zion National Park

I shot this during our brief stay at the park. We really only had one day to explore, and unfortunately some of the more famous hikes, likes Angel's Landing, were closed that day. I could easily go back and spend a week exploring this magnificent park. We did make it to the top of Hidden Canyon, which was both physically challenging and impressively beautiful. The following day we made the driv...
Liberace Museum Las Vegas

This was shot at the Liberace museum in Las Vegas in October 2010, a few days before it closed. The ghost of Liberace was everywhere. The song is "What a Difference a Day Makes", by Dinah Washington

I remember long ago there was once a time before this T rex when that particular spot was occupied by the raptor animatronics instead and they were stood over the dead body of an iguanodon (which the T rex also stood over for a time) Must've been at least 20 years now give or take.
Oh
Jan 2020 - Please be aware that there is a mammoth viewing deck planned for construction at Peggy's Cove by June 2020, with cantilevered portions of the deck that will necessitate grading the granite boulders, pouring tons of concrete, and irrevocably changing this iconic view forever from many view planes. If you are concerned about this issue, and want more information, join the FB Group, Save the Natural Beauty of Peggy's Cove. Over 700,000 visitors go to this site annually, and if they do, they won't see this view anymore, unless the plans of Develop NS are stopped or curtailed.
Its nice to place, i love it
Nice video, and very nice music too, thank you.

Thank you! I am now a Slaint Mhath fan!
GREAT video!!!!
Sadly, the band is more or less a thing of the past. Most have moved on or continued with college. A real pity.
@Genderify slaintemhath is their website I know you can buy their cds in local shops in Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.
