I'M STILL HERE 2024
When the lives of hundreds of people left stranded on the streets of London during the 2020 Covid pandemic are in jeopardy, a group of volunteers decide to take action. The film gives people experiencing homelessness a voice during this most difficult time. It is a film about the power of human connection and the value of community. As Amrit Maan (THE PUNJAB RESTAURANT COVENT GARDEN) supplied meals, the volunteers from the charity UNDER ONE SKY walk the deserted streets to listen and deliver emergency supplies and compassion. "This film gives us hope. By saving others we save ourselves. It gives us a way forward" writes Executive Producer and Actor Elizabeth McGovern. (DOWNTON ABBEY)
Filmed and Directed by Franc Vissers. Presented and Co Directed by Elizabeth Healey. Producers: Mikkel Juel Iversen (UNDER ONE SKY FOUNDER), Franc Vissers, Elizabeth Healey and Kitty Teague. Executive Producers: Ian Bonhote and Dee Ryder (SUPER/MAN, THE CHRISTOPHER REEVE STORY, RISING PHOENIX) and Matthias Schwarz.
Made with thanks to all the brave and selfless contributors who shared their experiences and their remarkable stories. The film has been shown at film festivals and in cinemas across the globe, in public spaces, at universities, charity events and to company employees. It has been nominated for awards at The Raindance Film Festival and longlisted at British Independent Film Awards and is now gaining traction with BAFTA.
The feedback has been incredible so far with the words powerful and inspiring being the most common responses so far. "We always wanted the film to inspire people to not look the other way and it seems that it might be helping with that. That's amazing" says Producer Director Franc Vissers. "We just want more people to see it now".
We have made the film available for free on TH-cam, Amazon and other platforms to ensure anyone anywhere whatever their situation can watch it.

On 23rd March 2020, London’s bustling streets became deserted overnight. People had been ordered to “stay at home”. Everyone and everything had gone. Everyone apart from society’s most ostracised group: people affected by homelessness. Seeing the desperate situation, the small community group Under One Sky started daily emergency response. Within weeks a handful of people grew into a movement w...
It hurts so bad to see these beautiful people living on the streets....and to know that those who really could change it all, act like these people dont exist! It hurts....It hurts so bad. Thank you to all the lovely volunteers❤
Having been homeless, seeing this made me very emotional.......this country doesn't care unless there's a profit. God bless those who help.
Thank you Rob. Much appreciated and God bless you too.

Amazing project, amazing & engaging film. We can afford to provide furlough to the majority of workers, send billions in overseas aid, but we can’t afford to help the homeless off the streets. What kind of society are we? 🙏🌟
Thank you. Our website has some useful information on what more we can all do. www.imstillhere.film/take action.
I had a house once that was cold, damp, mouldy and rats, so have an idea what the pavement must be like. ❤
As Dodger says in the film "It's not a nice place to be". Thanks for your support.
God I was all emotional watching this film. ❤
I'd rather eat in a soup kitchen than in the hilton hotel. A better class of people any day. ❤
It was and amazing how Asian communities always step up to the mark when a crisis occurs. Well done brothers and sisters. ❤❤❤ And I'm always in awe of their work.
All sorts of communities step from every walk
“ they want someone to come to them”🤔 “You shouldn’t be treated diffrent” “ they don’t want to handed the bag of food” That says alot. No one brings the average person food. So you are treating them different. You can’t help a victim only a victor.
Kia ora from Aotearoa (New Zealand)❤ Awe homeless & non-homeless people....key word... People, love you all. Keep doing what you all are doing & keep the faith that things will get better, believe me, i know. I hope my message finds you ALL very well ❤
Tena Koe Reuma. And Kia Kaha to you too. Thanks for watching
