How to: Wild Garlic Hummus
#ConnectWithNature on our final day of #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek by making use of readily available wild garlic! Wild garlic can be foraged from early Spring and is still available for picking at the moment - but be quick! It won't last much longer. What better way to connect with nature than to be able to pick and taste it in your own cooking? Here's a super simple and delicious wild garlic hummus recipe. The quantities are changeable to your tastes so feel free to experiment until you reach your desired taste.
You will need:
- 400g tin of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- A good handful of wild garlic, washed
- The juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil (add more if needed)
- Salt and pepper
- A handful of mixed nuts (optional)

Great recipe! I think I mixed up the flours, adding the spices to the dry mix but still came out good. I tried a recipe that sautéed the mushrooms last night and this was so much better.

Hi, does this mean that I cannot reuse this jar after I finish burning the candle?- As there are dried flowers glued to the sides
Hi Josephine, you can reuse the jar to make more candles however we wouldn't recommend consuming from it as not all of the wax will come off. Hope that helps x

Hi Jasmine, Simmering water is fine. Heat and moisture are needed to draw out the tannings in the foliage. x
