Great lesson!

You are an excellent teacher. I wish you could incorporate some over-head shots. I think I could absorb your lessons more quickly that way. None-the-less I do get a lot out of your lessons. Even though I'm not a drummer, I learn them on the drum and then transfer them to my Jazz Violin. I really think all Jazz Musicians, regardless of their instrument, should learn what you are teaching. Cheers, Jack

Thanks buddy! I just picked up a big apple ride(meinl). I was thinking that ride sounds like mine!!. I don't see many about but I love the sound! It has a nice click/wash seperation. It does have a really small bell though. Great lesson!! Cheers

The left-hand can play patterns out of the Ted Reed syncopation book using this form and reading I believe this page 29 or 30 in the Ted Reed syncopation book while the right hand plays time
