@PoweryFishing I looked at that blank before,like the 6oz ,but you see bad review and you shy off purchasing and building complete rod.On your video you could see has plenty of back power.

@@senadkatana9224 I have no complaints with the rod. I have two builds on the MHX MU108H and one on the MHX MU108XH. They are both great rods especially for throwing artificials which is what I do the most of!👍

@@senadkatana9224 if you ever see me out there and Im fishing with one of those blanks I will let you hold it to get a feel for it. They are super light which comes in handy when I’m casting 200+ times a night.

@PoweryFishing I live in TN ,but lately I been more fishing penhandle Piers.I got several 9ft range rods 10-25,15-30,and got LS9 20-40 and I hate it.Tip is heavy amd makes rod wobble after cast.Being rated 20-40,that shouldn't happened (rod should be little stiffer).It's paired with same van stall you got but 201 because I am left handed.So lately I was looking for few other blanks,one of them is rainshadow Musky line MH ,American Tackle BA3K9/30-50...truly want to make Cobia rod. I did fish Sebastian several times and had great time specially in fall. Tight lines

Did you have any luck? It’s hard fishing Sebastian. I had to go a lot and watch the locals before I started catching anything.

Yes, you can definitely catch kingfish at this pier. I remember fishing there one day when I was a kid and people were catching them like crazy off of rapala xraps. Pretty sure the video is on YT somewhere but this was maybe 10-15years ago. Not sure if they still catch them like they use to before but I know they still catch them.

Vsx200 is comparable to a 5000 series real and I would say vsx2 200 would be the size of a 6000 series real!👍

Nice! I actually ended up getting rid of it and bought another vsx200. I like the bailess reels better!😂

@@PoweryFishing I like the bailess for surf fishing. Less moving parts is always better when you’re fishing on a beach near the sand. I wish van stall made a bait runner. I do a lot of striper and tuna fishing up here in Maine.

way too large. i would recommend a vr50 and that reel is like a 4000. the vr150 is more like a 6000-8000

The VR150 is around the same size as a 5000 series reel. I believe the VR 125 might be your best shot!👍

This fishing reel can range from $400-$700 used. It’s much more expensive brand new!👍

Yes, most likely it is glued. Have you tried cutting it with a razor blade and peeling it off?
