5 9 Bad Injector

5.9 ISB Cummins Engine was a no start, rail pressure would reach about 1200 psi and nothing more. No codes were found in ECM, Diagnosis was started by blocking off individual injectors via a block off tool. When injector #2 was blocked off, the engine started, determining my #2 injector had excess return flow, resulting in a no start. The injector was replaced and the engine started.

This engine was a no start. For a HEUI engine, specifically a 6.0, I started my diagnostics with the scan tool. I first checked my inputs to the fuel system, I wanted to watch Injection Control Pressure (ICP) Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR) Engine Oil Temperature (EOP) Sync with Cam and Crank sensors, and correct input and output voltages to the FICM. Ok so mines is running rough bad fuel smell knocking but the injector buzz test was fine soo idk what issue may be and it will stall after running for a few minutes

Thanks for the Info. New to 7.3 Engines. I started rebuilding 8V-92-TA's, & 71's in the Oilfield around 1991 then T466 Engines Then 60 Series for a Detroit shop in Wakefield Mass in 2004. 1st. Question. Which Scan tool was that? I have Forscan. I want to look at HPOP pressure. 2nd Question. Where to get glow plug Compression tool or make my own from old glow plug? 3rd Question. Who is a reliable dealer for Alliance AD & AE Injectors New ?
I need some help my 7.3 is throwing a little big of blue smoke and when I go passed 70 it just slowes down and turns off

That was with a Ford IDS scan tool. You can buy it and subscribe through Ford, but it’s very expensive
