Paul Weller is the greatest in my mind. Going to see him in my hometown Chicago in September. I've seen him the last 2 times he has come to town. He has an inexhaustable catalog but I'm alway glad to hear his latest. Constantly pushing and creating,. He has had a new record each of the last five years. Damn good guitatrist as well. America is missing out with this fellow.

Quality musicians in this line up. Plenty of energy and voltage and arguably the last album/era where he sang it like he meant it.

I think Noel like me had a massive inspiration from Paul also I think at their original meeting inspiring Paul to reconnect his original mode mod to the newer generation then nice to know Noel was honestly influenced like myself by original release of black n white quadraphenia it has to be part of a major influence because u can talk on this Townsend/seller mid seventies grow up almost cult then forever Carnaby St was full of Vespa 50 and lamberts remember getting my bowling shoes/jam shoes in Melanie’s flea market was a one off for cool little twin sets black n white had my own carrots sewn on on shift dresses scooter jackets n bowling ur Parker not too over but individually urs remember my shiny chopped up the back dark front chin length bob exact line getting Paul’s new Marriott inspired spikes crown/curtains fk me lived for clothes n music no change only soooo exciting then got a lot of fights from bitchy older year girls cos of my tee look ok face I hope one will say obsessed but it took skill n loved it guys as bad spot n mohair suits button downs n I ain’t even started on the music yeah 56 n proud glad im not 30 i lived through best days so mature for age was in bands singing n writing by 7 😂let’s now roll in warehouse parties mix it and revive the fkg fun times that had meaning to it we were alive
