It wasn't fun. I survived it. Hope it doesn't happen again. It's a walk out basement, so it leads to the backyard. I'm usually okay, but we had so much rain and hours of downpours. My drain and sump pump clogged, and the rain had nowhere to go. There's a retaining wall and a little area right when you walk out of the basement, so all but one side is surrounded. It's a mess. I'm just glad only a little rain got inside. And of course, the basement is finished with carpet. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@dawnr9158 it would take so much time that I don't have. It's flooded before. Previous owners claim it never happened. Or it did once and then never again. Flooded within a week of me closing on the house. It's been almost 13 years at this point. I'm the low spot, so everything washes onto my property.

@dawnr9158 it is awful. It was right about 70 with the sun blaring down yesterday. In the low 70s today with storms and same for tomorrow and Tuesday.

@outrageandgrace we have 50s and rain off and on. We had fall for a couple weeks barely, and then straight into winter. 🥶

@carrielarae thank you! I don't think you're being too dramatic. Not all brands are for everyone, and I have always said mattes are not Adept's strong point. And some of their color stories are out there. Have you seen the palette they revealed a few days ago?
