Episode 6 is my favorite episode from season 1. Definitely in the top 3 for the entire series!!!!

The toilet. Oh my god... That reminds me of the guy that went into Shark Tank with this doll that was for emotional support and it was the creepiest thing in the universe, and it spoke in a disturbing voice saying "everything will be... Just fine"... It felt like the last words you would hear before getting as*aulted.

Huh. I never saw Kim as manipulating Jimmy for Howard. I saw her as protecting Jimmy's relationship with Chuck.

There are so many things I want to talk to you guys about this episode, but then realize "No, that'd tip them off and then they'll deduce the next part" and you guys are already too damn good at that. 🤪

Found it a little off the mark thinking the doctor was wrong. She was 100% right, Jimmy was enabling Chuck completely. She was right in every sense of the arguement. Chuck needed help, he didn't accept that, and Jimmy didn't get him to do it either. He enabled him entirely. Also found the way you viewed Kim very interesting. No spoilers: When I view the scene with her looking at howard, I don't see her doing whats right for him, she's just in an awkward situation. She went to Jimmy because shes a true friend, and knew he shouldn't do it out of spite. Don't see it as selfish in anyway, quite the opposite.

This is the episode, after which I first gave up on BCS, it was definitely an error

Ugh. It hurts to hear you guys badmouth the best character in the BB Universe. Get ready for one of the best episodes next week.

I understand people being upset with Walt for “forcing” jesse to kill gale but to be fair Walt did risk his own life to save Jesse the previous episode not saying I don’t still feel bad for Jesse for having to do that but still.

The problem I have with both sides of team Walt and team Skyler in that last scene is neither side takes accountability people either absolutely hate Skyler after she says that or are extremely satisfied to see Walt suffer. They are both morally in the wrong objectively speaking.

This episode was the episode that convinced Vince and Peter to take into consideration Rhea Seehorn (Kim). Rhea pretty much struggled all her life to break into the acting world and had to rely doing odd jobs to kinda live. Since she was always either a secondary or background character, over time, Rhea learned to react. And this episode landed her the role of Kim beceause even tho at this point the writters (nor her) had no idea who was Kim, the way she reacted in this episode (and the other couple that she was on) was SO good, they decided it was a waste to be just a secondary char and expanded her role. If you notice, look at Kim's expressions when they found out Jimmy's stun: she subtlety reacted and that little smirk earned her the biggest role of her life (so far). So, in other words: she had the exact same fate as Aaron Paul. Remember that Jesse was supossed to die S1 and Aaron was so good that they decided to change things? The exact same thing happened with Rhea and I cannot be happier

Why would Tom be mad at Blue for thinking it might be a scam. He should be more upset with Katie and Kevin for not seeing it. It was so obvious, especially when you see him pull off the first scam.

Almost to Season 1 / Episode 6 ... One of the best episodes in the universe!

They seized Nacho's van and found blood in it so they thought he took them away in the van.I don't think the show is a slow burn. I think people just wanted a lot of shooting and bombs, but of course there wouldn't be anything like that when Jimmy isn't even in the game yet.

Joining in with the slow burn comments, this show is that...but the fuse is headed for something big💣🗯 Hope yall are enjoying it!

BCS is better than BB. Better writing, better characters, better cinematography, better in everyway except tension. They both build tension, BB focuses on life or death tension, BCS is more focused on social tension (though of course they both build tension in just about every way imaginable).

Regarding the slow burn criticism, I think that can stem directly from the fact that Breaking Bad was "found" as a show later in its life, so between the time the general public got to the crescendo that was Ozymandias, they only had to wait...what? Two years to get more from the same creators?! Everyone was hyped, and I think, expecting the same level that was at the end of Breaking Bad. For me, and I think you'll agree with me as you get more toward the end, is that Better Call Saul pulled of the perfect balance of comedy and tragedy, far better than Breaking Bad did. Not that Breaking Bad didn't have tragedy. But it's different in Better Call Saul. More...personal? You'll see. Great reaction as always.

I would agree that BCS is a slower burn but that's because it is different. I went in expecting BB shenanigans. It took me a couple of seasons to come to terms with this show being something different.

BB is king but BCS is just about as good.

I've watched BB mulitple times. BCS - once. So I like BB a lot better. But I'm trying to like it better, which makes it interesting to follow your take. Yes character development, but it kind of goes all over the place, where as BB was written much tighter. Much more my style.

What I love about this show is that they don't just expose everything; you really have to pay attention to find out what's happening. For example, the fact that Chuck is Jimmy's brother is something you're supposed to know in this episode.

The Kettleman's are definitely the Ted of this series lol. And yeah, lots of people say it's slow burn at the start. So imagine how much more it will pick up as it goes on!
