A fly-over tour using Google Earth showing some of the 60 broken water pumps that were restored by Thirst No More in 2008. The sound track playing in the background is Sudanese-style music written and performed by Emmanuel Jal, a native of Darfur.

Thirst No More's first water well was drilled in El Fasher, Northern Darfur in November, 2008. In this interview with Charlie Michalik, Charlie and I discuss the challenges he faced as they drilled water holes in the African desert.

This water well was repaired by Thirst No More in 2008 for a village in Northern Darfur. Charlie explains how the restoration of this water supply will affect the lives of villagers who had to walk long distances for water when the well was broken.

This is the fourth in a series of interviews I did with Thirst No More's Africa Director, Charlie Michalik in 2008. We discuss the logistics of moving pipe and water drilling equipment to provide water for people in Northern Darfur.
