At least it was fun hearing the small sound effect for falling on rainbow road like DS and Wii at least they thought to put more emphasis on the sound effect so it’s not just the characters screaming when u fall of the track makes up for how slow respawns are in those games up to 7 where the respawns were slightly faster then 8 makes the respawns faster but takes away the recovery boost is what made Mario kart better at least in super circuit to 7.

The DS Rainbow Road is especially amazing! And I really like what they did with Cheep Cheep Lagoon and WII Mario Circuit. Yoshi Desert is a bit dull compared to the others in my opinion.
