Another reason they scare away the English. They get pretty insecure about their masculinity. Especially when they see a man in a kilt and start have thoughts they say they should only have about women

What if I am Canadian? And a woman? I dig kilts.

When I lived in Nevada, I wanted to wear my kilt for hunting, but in the desert, every plant has thorns, spikes, thistles, and other impairment devices to rip apart your calves.

Just watch out for squirrels, . They might have easy access to your nuts.

Fellow mountaineer here... I´m inspired! What kind of kilt do you wear up a climb? 5 or 8 yard? Wool or polyviscose? Once I get mine, I´d very much like to go up a hill together. Just because, and I don´t take likfe too seriously either!

do look up lungis. a south asian garment . could be a easier to wear and lighter alternative to the kilt for those in warmer/tropical climates . if you want the same benefits as he mentioned.

I loved this video! My husband and I both have a Scottish history in our families (his mother was born in Glasgow and immigrated to Canada, and my great-grandfather immigrated from Aberdeenshire to Canada in the early 1900s) ... we are planning our 25th wedding anniversary next summer, where we will be renewing our vows; he will be dressed in a belted kilt (his family tartan) and I will be wearing an 18th century gown and airsaid. Very nice video and kilt. i just got my first 2 red cotton Utility kilts from Pakistan that i wear at the navel. Might want to pick a more traditional kilt next. where did you get yours? is it wool ?

i think a pair of cut-proof legwear protect the knee under the kilt will be perfect, both the movibility and safety.

Thanks for this, my husband here in the US has an eight reason...due to a massive scar on his hip from an accident 30 years ago, and a hip transplant where the doctor went back in the same line, pants ride too low and chaff the scar. He's gradually shifting to more and more kilt wear much to the amusement and bemusement of family, friends, co-workers, and the general public. :).

I just purchased myself a kilt, however a trad kilt isn’t very practical for Texas so I got a utilikilt. But I am excited for the level I am getting to respect my heritage.

He's really on a freezing mounting wearing barely anything like it's a summer beach

when i lived in colorado, even during a blizzard i wore shorts. my legs didnt get cold that much. so i totally get the kilt in snow. (in intro) i plan to wear my kilt daily. i just got in to utility kilt. love em . i want a tartan eventually, but im a disabled veteran and i dont get alot of money. but one of these days i will.
