Fishing academy sounds a good idea, you could try a local hall. Forty foot has a village hall that can be rented out could be called Fenland Fishing School

Canals and Rivers Trust have set up a number of Angling Academies which combine backside sessions with evening sessions learning to tie rigs etc.

I have been fishing since i can remember mainly carp fishing and some match fishing. Like most i dabbled with pike and perch in the winter months and now im hooked more on the pike and perch then carp. I recently bought a fishing kayak and had a few sessions out on it. i seriously think this will be my main fishing from now on and would happily sell all my carp gear. Loving the podcast keep them coming🎣🎣

I have bought a few from shein and to be fair there actually really good and pretty much exactly the same as a big brand i have purchased. Not every one i have bought is that way, but 90% are great.

Like you say I fish a fixed spool for less hassle. Do own bait casters just very rarely use them. Keep up the great work lads🎣🎣

Should have taken me as been there for the last 20 years but don't know if you are aware but the Mario who was the owner with Mirabel his wife was sadly killed in a tragic accident back in January while on Holiday and Mirabel sold the shop to Patrick and his wife last month who are doing a fantastic job with keeping De-Catfish name alive for the hundreds of us that fish over there every year and good luck with the comp tight lines

Nice one guys, always great to watch another episode. I bought a second hand kayak this in the beginning of the year for an absolute steal. So cheap I've spent more on upgrades than the actual kayak itself hehe I really enjoy it because it opened my horizons, i can go to places i would never be able to go fishing otherwise and I can now reach areas on my usual spots that I could reach from the bank. I would love to join you guys on one of those adventures one day! Wish you all the best🤜🏼🤛🏼

My reason to wrap would be to give my Hobie Lynx a new looking finish after years of epoxy repairs, scuffs, and plastic welding.

I think this is all very interesting and honourable, but you all know who it was and many of us don’t. By now the truth should be out. If he has a channel I’m subscribed to, I’d want to know. I just hope it is none of those I follow religiously, I’d feel betrayed. I fish purely for pleasure - the competition is my own ability. Currently, I’m 3-nil up😂👍

Would really like to see you having a go at catching big Roach from the Relief Channel. Its the only place I have had 2lb fish from.

Andy you should have used one of REG BARKERS throwing cups to put your groundbait out ..he used to put balls of groundbait out across to the far side of the Welland they was the size of grapefruit he had all his bait in with in 2 minutes !! It was a fray bentos Tin screwed to a broom handle & he won more Welland championships than anyone even Ivan Marks & the Leicester likely Lads couldn't handle Reg ...Have a great story of RAY ( the pole ) Mumford sitting next to Reg on the Welland in a big match !!!

They were Asian otters released from the otter trust place near Beccles, so they were hardly indigenous. I have pictures of what an otter will do to a 3lb perch: just eat the throat and gills and leave the rest to rot. No different to a fox in a chicken run. They’re complete bast’ads!!!

Add sugar or molasses then soak for at least a couple of days and no need to boil it, nothing wrong with it after a week when its fermenting. Ive scraped the mould off the top and caught carp loads of times.
