We went this past Labour Day weekend. That nest is still there! A real nice place for camping though the haze of campfire smoke that blankets the park at night is a bit harsh.
Wow, that's unbelievable but so cool! Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Way too cold for me Chloe...you are amazeballs!!
She was feeling the chill!
💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐😀
Thanks for sharing this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I lived in swastika for 6 years from 1977-83. I could hear that river called the blanche river from my bedroom at night. I used to hear the train whistle too. Great days
Pleasant little town we had never heard of before! Love the small towns of Ontario.
I know that place not far from old woman bay 30 years ago I was exactly where you guys are I'm glad noisy bay came to my mind enough to look it up thank you
Fantastic park with amazing crystal clear (but very cold) water. This was our favourite trail of the trip but so many great trails at Lake Superior. Thanks for watching.
Great video I will go there 😊
You should! It's a great park. Thanks for watching.
Thanks 😊
Welcome 😊
Esker is our favorite Provincial Park. The beaver in Sausage Lake would come out at supper time and sit near the lodge to eat. The grandkids loved watching it. From the Lonesome Bog trailhead parking lot you can sometimes watch the beaver, monarch butterflies, bees, grass hoppers, birds, squirrels and chipmunks among less desirable spring blackflies and evening mosquitoes. The song of spring peepers and later the wood frogs can be deafening if lucky enough to have a campsite in the vicinity.
That sounds wonderful and some amazing memories! We enjoy our day trip to the park and put it on the list for future visits. Thanks for sharing your experiences and thanks for watching.
Thanks. I've never been to the Pinery before and am taking some family members from out-of -town there next week. We all love a good hike and we will be doing this one!
It's a great little park with lots to do! Hiking, swimming, canoeing, biking and relaxing. Wilderness Trail is the longest and you can make it longer by walking the beach too! Enjoy and let's us know how you like it!
Oh sweet Chloe...Oliver is the same way ❤
So sad to watch and be so helpless.
Go Chitra!!!! 🏃♂️
It looks like a nice park to visit with the dog. A bit far for us east of Ottawa but we never know. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching and commenting. It isn't a huge dog swimming area, but it is really nice. You have a lot of options for provincial parks close to Ottawa, but always nice to go on a longer adventure! Summer is coming.
Great tour of this little provincial park. I am planning on visiting this summer with my little Maltese/Bichon who absolutely love the water. I am glad there were area where your puppy could swim. Looking forward to explore this summer. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching and I hope you have a great time at Fitzoy this summer!
Beautiful trail❤
Yes it was!
Just felt my shoulder and elbow dislocated.Lol I know how much Abby pulls doing this, can’t even imagine the pull of miss Chloe.😢😊
Survival demands you learn to make your arm like a bungee. Love seeing her having fun though! It's worth it!
What a deck and view
It's a beautiful location.
Great campground
Have you visited the park?
The falls seemed bigger then
Could have been the time of the year we went or maybe they have done something to the river upstream that has decreased its capacity?
I used to go to this park in the early 1970s. Thanks for allowing me to experience it again.
Our pleasure! We really enjoyed the park and the history of it. Glad it is now listed on the Ontario Parks website!
"Puppy cone" omg thats so adorable! 🐾
Chloe is now in love with ice cream and expects us to share our cones with her (which we do, of course).
So cute!
Thanks for watching. Chloe seems to be a lover of ice cream now. Who isn't?
HI , i like this video you made. I'm making a history video of Onaping falls and i was wondering if i can use parts or the whole video you made to put into this project i am working on . Please and thank you.
Glad you enjoyed the video. There is a share button that lets you reshare or embed the video into a webpage. What is your project for? It is a beautiful location!
It's...... "walk......ah.....me "
Looks like a beautiful trail!
I was and we had it to ourselves!
love the video! is parking at sinclair cove free?
Yes, there isn't a lot of parking though.
Seen a deer on this trail once!
That's fantastic. I've never seen any at Rondeau!
@@NatureloverCa the places I’ve spotted them is this trail, crossing the road, at the start of marsh trail, and greatest of all, the huge buck that jumped right in front of me on spicebush!
Beautiful trail!
It was an amazing trail. Loved crossing the river on the boulders. Great experience.
South old woman trail...really!! Lol
I don't make this stuff up! lol
Atta girl!
Thanks for watching!
Spectacular trail!
It absolutely was. Highly recommended!
Wonderful video!
Thank you very much! We love the Canadian Shield and Lake Superior didn't disappoint!
You're a natural!! Hehe
I do love the sound of fall leaves, can't help but do a little dance.
Just wanted to let you know it’s Eagle Lake not Mikisew. We camp there every year
Thanks for the correction, I realized it while editing and should have put a correction on screen. It's a great park!
Thank you for your video on this Snowy and wet morning in February. Warmer days are around the corner. Cheers 🍻
Summer will be here before you know it! Stay safe out there ❄
Great video. I especially liked the pilot light repair by Chitra - thanks Dad!!
Camping requires 'on-the-go' repairs, whether it's a ripped tent or spider in a pilot light. Great to have the tools and know-how to fix it yourself!! Thanks for watching!
Nice and peaceful place. Your dog Chloe is really well-mannered in the canoe!. Thanks for sharing and can't wait for camping season in a few months!
So serene and quiet! Love the view. Thanks for posting this, I want to go canoeing soon. 😁❤
Thanks for watching. Where do you like to canoe? Do you go with a dog? Solo?
Another nice campground. That little island/picnic area would be great for a BBQ. Thanks for sharing.
The park is in the middle of nowhere but what a lovely park to spend time at.
Beautiful scenery!
Love Northern Ontario, except the crazy truck drivers that pass you on hills and curves!
Keep making these types of videos, very nice work!!! You need to look into Promo`SM!
Really beautiful scenery! I sometimes forget how nice and peaceful parts of Ontario are once you get away from the cities. That's an impressive amount of water at those falls and hope to get up there for a visit sometime. Thanks for sharing.
The area had had a lot of rain before we got there. We actually saw the river levels fall significantly over the week we were there.
Beautiful scenery!
Lovely country up there!
Wow beautiful place🫡
So many beautiful little towns around Ontario to discover!
Great very Informative Video Thanks for Sharing 🙏🫡
Glad it was helpful, and thanks for watching!
Wonderful video and very informative!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really nice and I appreciate this series of those Northern Ontario parks and areas. Maybe your pupper Chloe sensed a deer nearby? Thanks for sharing.
It was amazing to get further north and see these parks and areas that we had never experienced before. Chloe is always finding interesting animal trails and leading us down unknown paths. 🙂
Fantastic. You, Trish are a marvel with a camera, and your partner(s), Chitra and Zoey make life zoomie! I love these videos.
Thanks Tim, welcome to the channel! Chloe loves her zoomies, especially in anything that feels like sand!
Nice park! I had to look this one up as well on Google Maps. Those Provincial Parks in Northern Ontario must be a nice treat to visit. Thanks for sharing.
They were all new to us and pretty spectacular. Definitely worth visiting and much quieter than the southern parks.
Wow nice trail Thanks for Sharing 🫡
Truly gorgeous presentation my friend, Canada 🇨🇦 looks absolutely beautiful here. Atmosphere is so alluring and enchanting!
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I see you hike solo around Europe, have you been to Canada??
@@NatureloverCa Unfortunately I have not been to Canada, but the nature there is fascinating!
