You NEED a BREAK - Rest with Platinum Sedona Gold Crystal Bowls
You NEED a break for your brain. You don't want to go home or head into the weekend feeling frayed, burned out, frustrated, and irritated. Rest is not a "nice to have." It's a neurobiological imperative.
Step one - Put on headphones.
Step two - Recline in your chair or on the couch/floor/bed.
Step three - Close your eyes.
This quick brain break using crystal singing bowls will help you experience non-sleep deep rest (NSDR) allows your parasympathetic nervous system to take over. Non-sleep deep rest is necessary for healthy brain function and even just a few minutes will leave you feeling more patient, more creative, refreshed, calm, and ready to finish out your day with clarity and focus.
You could also use this to HELP YOU SLEEP AT NIGHT. We have longer sound baths on this channel if you prefer the sound to last longer.
Non-sleep deep rest can be achieved when you close your eyes, recline, and remove as much sound as possible. If you don't have a silent space or you find your mind wanders too easily in silence, then you can use sounds like these crystal singing bowls or nature sounds.
NOTE: a human voice guiding you through relaxation techniques doesn't quite get you into NSDR. Listening to someone talking to you can pull you out of deep rest, so we recommend NO WORDS, just these hypnotizing sounds.
Rest is not a "nice to have" but a neurological necessity. Building in little bits of rest throughout the day is an easy and pleasurable way to start seeing shifts in your life, mental health, and well-being.
If you feel burned out, harried, frustrated, irritable, impatient, angry, exhausted, frazzled, and anxious, adding a few minutes of NSDR, a couple times a day, can relieve you of that suffering.
This rest is nothing to be ashamed of, embarrassed by, or something you need to hide from your boss. You will perform better, have more resilience, and be happier overall if you do this twice a day.

    I just stumbled on this video and coming from someone who is a professional in the field for 17 years and sells bowls, here are my thoughts: #1 - Frosted bowl are not beginner bowls because they are easier to play. They are beginner because they are the most affordable. #2 - You are using a suede mallet and now we have silicone and other mallets that prevent the rubbing sound and sometimes buzzing. All brands buzz if the player is not skilled and some bowls are “lemons” no matter a player level. #3 - regarding Alchemy vs frosted, they are two completely different types of bowls from the sound they produce to the playing technique and then how they interact with the human vessel # 4 - there is no mention of Impyrean bowls and clear crystal bowls (leaving out alchemy bowl knock offs) #5 - Alchemy bowls are more fragile and break from accidents more often than frosted therefore need more attention to protect your investment I’ll stop here….There is so much more!

    Thank you for this video but I'd like to see more of a real comparison. It looks to me like you are stroking / rubbing the bowls at very different speeds and when you strike the bowls (even if you struck them with the same power and follow through which doesn't appear to be the case from my viewpoint) you clearly stop the frosted bowl after 5-6 secs with your hand but leave the alchemy bowl sounding for at least 10 seconds. Both of course have much longer sustains than either of those times but doing it the way you did just isn't an even comparison in my eyes. I don't resonate with how you use "idiot" in this video either being full aware of books that use the term "idiot-proof" doesn't change that for me but you are entitled to use whatever (crystal) tone you like to narrate your videos of course. The intention feels commercial to me as well as to selling one type of bowl versus providing a fair comparison of features and issues in addition to the titled construction and components of the bowl. There are multiple methods of holding the mallets to angle of contact to how you "strike" a bowl so I don't feel like you covered much more than a surface comparison. Hopefully you or someone else will do a more complete fair comparison at some point so we can really learn the differences and the unique qualities of each type of bowl. Even having the bowls tuned at different notes changes the comparison. Apples and Oranges.

      When we allow our nervous system to finally fully relax, sometimes old pain bubbles up to the surface. This is good. That's why this is sound healing. Your body is very wise and knows how to heal, both physically and emotionally. We just need to take the steps to get our parasympathetic nervous system to turn on as often as possible and things will start to work their way out.

      Thanks for commenting. I appreciate that you care about facts. Efficiency can be measured many ways! Efficient with your time, your head space, metabolically, neurologically, and countless other ways. This is more of a work break/brain break than an entire workout. If you are familiar with creating content, you sometimes have to use words that people understand on a very simple level in titles, and then educate further once the viewer is engaged. I'm not proclaiming that people are going to "LOSE BELLY FAT in FIVE MINUTES" by any means.

    What about becoming too dismissive and avoidant this way

    • @look-the-app
      @look-the-app ปีที่แล้ว

      When we strengthen our nervous system (increase our stress tolerance) it doesn't make us "check out" or avoid feelings or encounters, it just allows us to be in it and lean in to challenges and uncomfortable emotions without getting carried away or spinning out. That "eh, no biggie" is more of your internal dialogue, not your outward affect. Let's say a person picks a fight with you, instead of your inner dialogue bursting into flames of fury, fear, avoidance, or self-doubt, your inner voice says, I'm here to listen and be present with clarity and calm. You can still feel anger or fear, but you are aware, clear, and can work with it rather than being carried away with it, a victim of it. You are in control of your thoughts and reactions.
