I been adventuring up here since the late 1960's. There are rock formations up there that look like certain things lol.

The south Warners is an awesome place!! many years ago I saw a wolf no one believes me but then started hearing it on the news that one came in California it was an awesome sight to see, If you do the entire loop north to south and back it’s absolutely beautiful.

Do you know of anyone who rents their goats out for backpacking trips or leads overnight trips with goats for a fee in the northern California area (Sierra or Trinity Alps)?

Is that a wild onion at 8:58? I hiked up about halfway to Patterson lake from Pepperdine back in the year 2000 and I think we found some onions up there at that time, but it's been a while and my memory is hazy.

Hi Steve, great video. Saw in the comments that you mentioned you're from Happy Camp. Do you ever hunt the Siskiyou Wilderness to the west of HC or do you always stick to the Marble Mtn Wilderness? Just curious as someone who wants to hunt in that area this fall. Thanks!

You nailed a perfect time to go! Lots of melting snow to give the falls a heavy output and snow around the lake but not any significant amount on the way up to it which would make the scramble a bit trickier.
